Do you really need to fertilize?

I am a newbie. I have 2 plants and they are healthy. Reading through posts, it seems like individuals have issues when using fertilizers. My beauty’s are in the blooming stage 12 weeks in. Each has been topped at the 8th node successfully. Indoors with grow tent. I feel like I don’t want to fertilize and upset a good thing. They were planted with organic miracle grow soil. Am I crazy?

The soil will become depleted at some point ( considering the girlz are big enough for the pot size) and that is when the nutrients are given...or some push them to get big yield...you will see on harvest day why.
Peace.

Plants look healthy I personally feed my plants with organic nutrients from GH. Been using the same stuff successfully for over 35 years I wouldn’t see why someone wouldn’t give their plants something that could possibly provide them with the key ingredients for increased yields, density and overall general health of the plant. Good luck in whatever direction you choose.

I am definitely going to fertilize then. What does GH stand for? Could you recommend a specific label? I very new to this and really appreciate your assistance.

Whatever nutrients u go with, start at 1/4 recommended dose...work slowly increasing until you are happy...rather the plants actually.
Water feed, water, or water water feed...your choice.
When feeding, water to good runoff to avoid salt buildup.
Ph between 6.5 and 7.2 and you will be rocking.
Good luck and happy grows.

I'm thinking the soil is already low on P and K by the total lack of any bud formation 2 weeks into flowering. Mine always have all sorts of small buds everywhere 14 days in. Size of golf balls by 3 weeks.

Critical Mass plant at day 21. Grown in soilless ProMix HP using AN 3-part nutes with Big Bud for a bud booster. 600W Hortilux Super HPS for light.

I use Mega Crop 2.0 myself...some monster bloom in weeks 1 through5 in flower, but very very little, and epsom salts.
It is more important to give a good overall nutrient to them, not parlor trick bs.

Great! Thanks I know what to do. As a beginner I’m as they say a little behind the 8 ball. I will start fertilizing and I have another plant that I can fertilize from the get go. Won’t make that mistake again.

Oh thanks. Fertilize it is!

If you're in Texas, give Medina Hasta Gro Plant, manufactured by the Franke family in Hondo a shot. Use at full strength. Organic and incapable of screwing up. Great yields and quality.
But I grow autos and you can't stress autos.
