Would 5 gallon bucket be too much for autos ? However I know if I put it in a 4 gallon bucket and or 3 gallon they could yield a lot with Low Stress Training . And yeah two plants in 1 bucket i did it once to experiment and one of the plant was struggling to grow because the other plant was being greedy with the root space haha.

No 5 gallon pot isn't too much for an autoflower if you are growing in soil.

May be a heretic post but YOLO...yield isnt dependant on size of pot for autos as much as the growers maintenance techniques. Smaller pots are higher maintenance...larger pots are low maintenance, just water the sucker every few days. That's for soil. I've done coco 2gal and the plant is just full throttle 'gimme more'...and im not down with that style any more. Now i do 5gal soil for outdoor and it's basically auto pilot grow. If i do tent grow im in 3gal...i dont like moving around 5gal buckets inside a tent...breaking branches...large runoff.yuk

Would it yield more than having it in a 3 or 4 gallon bucket?

Ill tell you this.. got a borage in a 15gal pot, the perimeter is 6 feet! Got another one in a 5gal its less than half at full maturity both. They re at the very end atm.

So in organics the answer is YES, most probably.

Fastbuds Wedding Cheesecake Auto filled this 5-gallon pot of peat/vermiculite. Yield 3.3 oz.IMG_20210323_091531919_HDR.jpg

Good Info I'm planning to do one in a 3 gal one in a 4 gal and one in a 5 gal ... I got Lsd-25 auto and girl scout cookies auto and do si dos auto. This might be a silly question but any suggestions of which one should go in the 5 gal bucket ? /:

GSC originated from crossing OG with Durban Poison. Durban really does well with plenty of soil it will gain about 2-2 1/2 times its size in flower.

There is no best size. If you know how you can get by in small containers. I can grow giants in small 1 gallon or less containers. Soil, coco, whatever.

These had been in 2 inch seedling pots for a couple months. I gave them away and they're now in 10 gallon pots and apparently doing great from reports I've gotten. Almost doubled in size after being transplanted but I haven't actually seen them so I'm skeptical as to how fast they grew.
