seeds won't germinate

First of all after reading what you and everyone has posted it seems that the point is your overthinking the entire process. Just step back and keep it simple. I’ve been growing for over 35 years and have things such as technology have changed so much. Not every seed you plant will come up every time. I’ve never soaked a seed in anything other than a wet paper towel in all my growing years but to each their own. God Luck!
Nah, turns out all my 4-8 year old seeds are dead (what a waste). Invested in quality genetics and so far am 5 for 5 in germination. Very happy!

Skip the DWC and skip all that crap about soaking, vinegar, etc... Plant the damn seed directly in some soil in a small pot. Water it in and wait. Do not water every day drowning the seed. Once plant sprouts and has grown for a couple weeks transplant into final pot of soil. Water and feed as needed.

Done.

You're making the simple task of growing a cannabis plant more complicated than putting a man on Mars.

Might want to get your RO system checked if you are needing to adjust the pH of it. RO water should read as about 7 pH and have nothing in it that can be adjusted.

I have tried popping 4 of my urkle lemons from skunk house genetics, only 1 popped. Got about 8 left to try next time . All my other seeds germd 100%. I don't wanna shit on them too hard, because it's probably something I'm doing (soaking 2+ year old seeds in water for 24hrs and then planting directly in a moist medium, put in a dark area for a few days and keep moist, nothing). My Temps are also a little cool for germinating, low 70s high 60s. But still kinda bummed they are being so difficult.
