Right troll, thank you.

You've open my eyes, Putin is the man, and Donald didn't sell out his country when the data that he received from the RNC on all of us American citizens was given over to the Russian military.

All hail whatever shit you all believe in the far right. I am sure it is like... oh wait, I mean 'we all believe'... I am sure it is likely many things though depending on what the dickish AI that Snowden smuggled to Putin right before the Russian military started their attack on our nation.

Oh, do I go right to MAGA/voting is for pussies, or do I start out at 'Libertarian'? I am not sure how that part works. I guess once I am on all your mailers/downloaded all the cookies/spyware you all have on your shit I will find out anyways.

So do I get a toaster and a booklet of hate topics/rules or something for joining your cult?

120 Ex-Military Leaders Pen Letter Warning of Deep National Perils, Biden's Lack of Fitness
More than 120 retired U.S. military leaders have banded together and penned an open letter warning that the country is in “deep peril” as a conflict between Marxism and constitutional freedom brews.

The Epoch Times reports that the letter, released Tuesday by “Flag Officers 4 America,” is signed by 124 former admirals and generals.

According to the group’s website, they are a group of "retired military leaders who pledged to support and defend the Constitution of the U.S. against all enemies, foreign and domestic."

They caution that the country is “in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776.”

The signatories point out what they consider the biggest threats to the country: the rise of China, the rejoining of the Iran nuclear deal, immigration, and the ending of the Keystone Pipeline project.

They also accuse the Biden administration of launching a “full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous Administration’s effective policies and regulations.”

The letter blasts “excessive lockdowns, school and business closures, and most alarming, censorship of written and verbal expression” amid the coronavirus pandemic as “direct assaults on our fundamental Rights.”

They also back the removal of Section 230, which shields Big Tech from legal liability. Former President Donald Trump pushed for the protection to be eliminated after he was banned from social media platforms.
They also call on the FBI and Supreme Court to “act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020.”

"Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the 'will of the people' our Constitutional Republic is lost,” they wrote.

The group also questions President Joe Biden’s mental capacity to hold the highest office in the land.

"The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night," the letter said.

'Disturbing and reckless': Retired brass spread election lie in attack on Biden, Democrats
The open letter from 124 retired officers alarmed current and former military members concerned about the politicization of the military.

A day after 124 retired generals and admirals released a letter spreading the lie that President Joe Biden stole the election, current and former military officers are speaking out, calling the missive a dangerous new sign of the military being dragged into the trenches of partisan warfare.

As news of the letter spread, it set off a round of recriminations among current and former military members. One serving Navy officer, who did not want to be identified publicly, called it "disturbing and reckless."

Jim Golby, an expert in civil-military relations, called it a "shameful effort to use their rank and the military's reputation for such a gross and blatant partisan attack," while a retired Air Force colonel who teaches cadets at the Air Force Academy, Marybeth Ulrich, labeled it "anti-democratic."
"I think it hurts the military and by extension it hurts the country," said retired Adm. Mike Mullen, a former chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, describing it as replete with "right-wing Republican talking points."

The talking points in the letter fall generally in line with die-hard loyalists in Trump's orbit, who question the results of the election despite the fact that the courts and Trump's own Justice Department said there was no reason to declare him the winner.
Several experts said it reminded them of the current crisis in civil-military relations in France, where dozens of retired generals were recently sanctioned after warning in an open letter in a right-wing magazine of civil war for the "protection of our civilisational values."

The American letter was striking for several reasons. It is not unusual for retired officers to take sides in electoral politics and endorse candidates. But its fiery, even angry, language and conspiracy-mongering struck multiple long-time observers as particularly out of bounds and dangerous. Coming outside the campaign season was also seen as rare if not unprecedented.

Let me guess, they think the sun shines out of Trump's asshole and that he was the greatest president ever. I wonder how many retired brass hats would sign something opposite in support of Biden? I think we might hear some more about this letter and perhaps find some people did not sign on to what was reported, it sure sounds fishy to me. I would suspect the patriotism and judgement of anybody who supported Trump.

Notable signatories included retired Army Brig. Gen. Don Bolduc, who is running for the U.S. Senate in New Hampshire; retired Army Lt. Gen. William Boykin, who stirred controversy for some of his anti-Muslim views and is now executive vice president of the Family Research Council; and retired Vice Adm. John Poindexter, who was the deputy national security adviser for President Ronald Reagan and was convicted in the Iran-Contra Affair.

The letter, mostly signed by ex-military leaders who have been out of uniform for decades, was organized by retired Army Maj. Gen. Joe Arbuckle, a Vietnam veteran who retired in 2000.

"The only positive sign," added Golby, "is that most of the retired officers who signed this letter have been out of the military for almost two decades, and that no recent retirees joined this shameful effort to use their rank and the military's reputation for such a gross and blatant partisan attack."

Mullen also pointed out that no retired four-stars signed it and only a handful of three-stars. "It's not very senior," he said. "In our world it's not very significant in terms of people."

DETROIT (AP) — President Joe Biden plans to take executive action Tuesday to ensure minorities, low-income Americans and others have better access to quality legal representation after services dwindled during the Trump administration.

Biden will sign a memorandum directing the Department of Justice to restore key functions of the shuttered Access to Justice Office and to reestablish the White House Legal Aid Interagency Roundtable.

The plans are laid out in a presidential memo first shared with The Associated Press. A White House official told the AP that Biden was directing the roundtable to examine the impact that the coronavirus pandemic has had on access to justice in both civil and criminal matters.

The pandemic “has further exposed and exacerbated inequities in our justice system” as legal services were curtailed, Biden wrote. He added that the problems “have touched the lives of many persons in this country, particularly low-income people and people of color.”

Tuesday’s memo is Biden’s latest step to work toward reforming the criminal justice system and advancing racial equity. It comes almost a year after the death of George Floyd sparked global protests and demands for action to address structural racism.

It builds on an executive order Biden signed on his first day in office establishing an initiative to prioritize equity in government operations. His proposed budget seeks $1.5 billion to strengthen state and local criminal justice systems, including public defenders. White House officials said the latest step will build on those efforts.

Civil rights organizations and leaders have been pressing the Biden administration to reestablish the Access to Justice Office and its work. The memo doesn’t explicitly reopen the office but requires Attorney General Merrick Garland to submit a plan within 120 days to expand work on access to justice.

The Access to Justice office was begun in 2010 by then-Attorney General Eric Holder and formally established in 2016 under President Barack Obama. It worked on matters including criminal indigent defense, enforcement of fines, language barriers in the courts and civil legal aid.

The office was shut by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions in 2018, with senior Justice Department officials saying that its mission was similar to the role of public defenders. Even before the office was closed, its resources dwindled.

The Legal Aid Interagency Roundtable was first formed in 2012 and was launched as a White House initiative in 2015 to find ways to improve access and help people representing themselves, among other things.

The announcement comes as the Biden Justice Department has been refocusing the agency around civil rights, prioritizing policing reform measures and combating racial discrimination.

In just the past few weeks, the department has opened investigations of police in Louisville, Kentucky, and Minneapolis. Federal prosecutors have charged four former Minneapolis police officers with civil rights violations in Floyd’s death and accused three men of hate crimes in the death of Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia.

And many Trump-era policies have been reversed, including the Trump administration’s so-called “zero tolerance” immigration policy and a memo that curtailed the use of sweeping investigations into police departments.

Joe Biden, the good, bad and ugly. Starting with the good.
It’s been 5 months since Joe Biden has taken the office of POTUS;
The “Good” actions performed by Biden are mentioned frequently by most respondents to this thread, including yours truly.
Now for the “bad or ugly” actions performed by him and his Administration.
  • They steadfastly refusing to acknowledge or deal with the calamity at the US border over which the Biden administration is facing 23 separate lawsuits.
  • A dismal jobs report, the economist missed their prediction of March jobs by 170,000, then predicted 1,000,000 jobs would be added in April, they missed it by 776,000.
  • A CDC director that just came out and said there is a difference between people that died "WITH COVID" and those that died "FROM COVID", throwing shade on what the fatality numbers really are.
  • A spending plan approaching $10 trillion.
  • An inability to have a press conference without preparation.
  • The continued brow-beading of D Trump and not focusing on the midterm elections.
  • Losing the “Cold War” with China; who if not checked will be the world’s super-power in both economics and militarily in a very short time.
  • The Middle East is again in flames with Iran-backed Hamas attacking Israel, bolstered by a US administration more eager to commit to the mullahs in Tehran than to our allies in Jerusalem.
  • Inflation; anyone with a saving or retirement should really be concerned. With the trillions of dollars being spent in congress without the support of gold backing, those dollars being printed are lowering the value of our retirement dollars. April’s consumer price index showed the cost of living jumped more than predicted, up over 4% from last year, the biggest increase in 13 years. Biden’s response: inflation be damned if that’s what it takes to “transform” the nation.
Closing statement, perhaps the trade-off American voters made on Nov. 3, thinking the country will be better off not having D Trump in the White House, “creating offensive tweets”, is due consideration now that we instead have J Biden occupying the throne creating “offensive policies”.

Hanimal will do a better job, but...

  • They're working on the border wall.
  • Americans are lazy and immoral, especially the white christians.
  • Rednecks think that if you have other ailments, you can't die from covid, same as how Floyd can't die from a knee on the neck.
  • The spending going back to Reagan era, Clinton aside, has been terrible.
  • LOL at preparation being a negative. Don't try so hard.
  • Not losing the nation to violent jihadist Trump supporters is pretty important to me, though maybe not you.
  • It's not our job to hold other countries back.
  • Hamas attacking Israel, haha, as if you were just born today. How cute. Watch out, your jesus is showing.
  • Inflation comes from corporate greed and don't forget where these free money payments started. Biden has definitely contributed though.

Yup, we are still trying to recover from Trump's epidemic. Tens of millions still out of work.

Also, fear of inflation is not exactly the same as inflation but you go ahead and be fearful.

Explain, please, why didn't wages for the working class go up when unemployment was so low during Trump's "good" economy? I mean, unemployment was reportedly as low as 3.5% but worker's wages -- those who earn less than the median -- were stagnant or declined.

Why was that?
