(Advanced Nutrients) I’m using almost all of their products and loving the results just trying to figur out why people on here hate AN so much

You can love Advanced Nutrients all you want but the ingredients in those bottles come from the same fertilizer factories that everyone else gets their ingredients. Advanced Nutrients does not make calcium nitrate, ammonium nitrate, monopotassium phosphate, or the other ingredients they use. They buy in bulk and just mix it together, put it in a bottle with some stupid name and cartoon label. Then they get the unknowing to think that they have some super special blend of stuff nobody else has. It's a joke and the only group of growers falling for it are cannabis growers.

It works great for me because like you said they buy all the products and put em together for me and tell me what it does and when and how to use it. Basically you’re telling me to just buy their ingredients and make it myself ain’t nobody got time for that I’ll leave it up to the experts. But to each his own if you can make all of the products I’m using to save money keep on making them I’m sure the people who produce these products at Advanced Nutrients are a lot more experienced in producing these nutrients and additives than me and you.

No what we are saying is you don't need much more than a Part A/Part B and Epsom Salts to grow. You purchased a bag full of snake oil.

Anybody got any comments or a questions shoot I would appreciate it any feedback is good feedback. I got time today. Lol!

Advanced Nutrients are experts at marketing.

I pay attention to what the real experts have to say regarding plant nutrition. Not some company trying to separate me from my money. But they apparently have you hooked deep. Maybe you'll shake the hook loose maybe you won't. One thing you definitely won't do is get anyone to believe that you're doing anything but spending money by using all those products. All you have to do is look at the grows from all the people saying you don't need all that crap to know that you don't need all that crap.

If you really want to know what the experts have to say about plant nutrition then you would be better off listening to the experts and not some marketing hogwash from Advanced Nutrients.

i'm growing this year started off in solo cups after they were big enough AN Grow, Micro, Bloom, and Big Bud. (I had these left over from a few years back when I was trying to grow, just started again recently). I am going to stop giving them the nutes now that I transferred from regular potting soil to Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Probably will give it a month or so then start giving the AN again. So far so good. I already spent the money so might as well use the products. Good luck and have fun growing! Who cares what other people think about what you spend. It's your grow!

Agreed. it's a pain in the ass trying to measure everything out. First time I used AN i thought I could wing it and burned the crap out of my plants.. Now I just spent even MORE money buying vessels for the water to measure it out correctly and it's going good. IDK though, I'm no expert but if you have shit water maybe PH Perfect would be a good choice? I honestly don't know. But so far mine are going great after a few nodes and adding the AN. Now I transplanted to FF Ocean Forest and I'm just going to water them with my well water til I see any kind of change.

I don't see a problem with AN but I definitely agree that nutrient vendors have changed DRASTICALLY since AN was popular. There are much better alternatives now that we never had years ago.

hey man no beef with you or anything at all like that but you seem like maybe you need a different forum, if for no other reason because you seem to want to compete with users here, and as far as i know and as far as i've been here.. even lurking.. that's not what RIU is about.. just saying.

we are here to support each other not fight over who's the better grower...
