Hey folks! Like the title says I’m a newbie and I’m on my first grow. I was looking closely at my girls and they seem to have a little spotting. Not sure if I’m just too worried bc it’s my first grow but I’d rather be overly cautious with my babies. DWC system I have two air stones for each, Mars hydro ts1000 at 50%, water temp at 70, humidity at 60%, temp at 74 I fed them 1/4 of nutes using flora trio, hydro guard, calmag, and rapid start. If I’m fucking up please tell me gently lol.

You are gently fucking up by doing hydro for your first grow, it’s not too late to put them in some dirt.

I'm pretty sure your miniature clay pebble Gorilla is strangling them to death when you're not looking and when you are he tries to blend back in by hugging a pebble but I found the sneak!! Get rid of him and it'll be smooth sailing from here on out!!

Do you measure your PH, EC and or PPM daily? That would help tell what your plants are doing.
Other than that I would add 2 more air stones to each depending on how many gallons your res holds. I run about 8 gallons DWC at tops (will be making this larger and upgrade to RDWC for next grow) and have 2 plants per res and 6 stones in each. Plants love the oxygen and it really helps work with Hydroguard to keep everything clean! I don't recirculate either, potential for more problems exist than it is useful imo.
Research the crap out of everything. I started with DWC and haven't had a failed crop yet. Few bumps but quality product at the end each and every time.
When you start taking your measurements, use the below chart to determine what your plants needs are.

I disagree,hydro is easy.With all the info available.My first 3 yrs was rdwc, way before internet.No problems, sure they could have been better but have you seen some of the fucked up soil grows here?And thats with internet.

All jokes aside, seedlings need smaller pebbles like perlite in the beginning, that may be the cause of the spots. I know soil is easier than hydro, and I know hydro is faster, that’s one reason it’s harder.

I've never seen a perlite Gorilla, but then again this is the first clay one I've seen too!
