Yes go 10 weeks minimum; that goes for every strain on planet earth. If you waited you definitely would have gotten better yield and more potent and dense buds. The pistils should ALL be orange and receded back into the bud. Density is a much better measure of ripeness than trichome head color given that the plant has been in bloom long enough. You can still pick too early even with mostly cloudy heads.
Wow that’s deff noted! I think I was too impatient that’s forsure I feel in my heart it could’ve gone longer but excitement got while I was vulnerable, *pats one sad chump self on the back* but I’ll certainly leave em longer for my current ladies. I’ve been fighting a humidity problem as my lights get real hot and i over insulated my shed so it’s very toasty in there and hard to keep the heat down
take them 11-12 weeks and you’ll be really amazed.
Its dealing with the smell that makes me chop even with venting and filters,and im legal .10 weeks is longest Ive gone

Yeah I have been struggling with that but fortunately I’m getting my current shed torn down within the year and then having a new one built specifically for maximizing space for alllllll of the lovely ladies. I have certainly made a lot of mistakes but it has been a fun experience and always throws me for a twist that’s forsure, excited to see how things will be in the future
Is there any cons to watch out for going that late? I’ve heard stuff about amber trichomes being too late but by the sounds of things could that vary as well?
I use the 220 machine bag and don't have any issues. When I'm done, it takes 2 gallons of water to clean the machine out. I empty the machine bag contents into a bucket, with the 2 gallons of water I rinsed out with, add ice and stir.........then pour right through the bags again. There is usually a gram or two gained from that. ymmv
