Leave the leaves on and dry trimMy room was 72 degrees 50% humidity no fans on but ac to keep the temps consistent. I wet trim and my buds were drying in 3-4 days. What can I change for next time to get a slower dry? I do not want to dry trim!
I pick all the leaves out of my buds, or as much as possible. Hand trmming is the best trimmed weed on planet imo only. Break down big nugs into individuals. Looks way better than leafy crap. Or something run through a trim machine. I wouldnt want to smash my buds up rolling over and over. Flatten all the trics.Yup. Dry trim is a must. My drying and curing all sucked until I started hanging whole plant and dry trimming. It really isn't bad. I actually really enjoy sitting down and trimming up the bounty of my harvest
Couldnt agree more, l wouldnt put my prized genetics in cement mixer! They dont need that.I cringe at trim machines. You plant these seeds from your prize collection, they sprout and you love a nurture them for the next 10+ weeks. Your mind dreams of your yields, you gaze as the buds fatten and frost with tricombs and inhale the terps rising up. You dry and throw them into a giant cement mixer looking fucking monster to get gnarled up and looks generic??? Seriously people can be monsters. You made the babies spend some time and deliver them to the world properly.

I despise dry trimming. I don't like the process or the final look. I was hoping for an alternative that would make my wet trim dry slower.Leave the leaves on and dry trim
I don't think that will work for me. I'm going to have a scrog so hanging whole plants is out of the question and I was really hoping to avoid dry trimming if at all possible...Yup. Agreed. Not a fan of trimming but I'm less of a fan of trimming machines!I cringe at trim machines. There arent many choices, find someone who wants to trim then.Agreed. Not a fan of trimming but I'm less of a fan of trimming machines!
Yes but do clean off fan leaves sometimesWet trimming will always dry a bit faster than dry timming. Do you hang the whole plant?
Don't get me wrong I get the job done! It's tedious and hard on my shoulders but I do it. Won't lie and say I particularly ENJOY it though. Took me 40 hours over the course of 3 days last time. 6 months pregnant too but it beats paying someone a bunch of money to do it for me!There arent many choices, find someone who wants to trim then.
No I don't. I cut branches, trim them, then hang. I'm going to be scrogging my next grow and don't thing I'll be able to get a whole plant out of the net to hang.Wet trimming will always dry a bit faster than dry timming. Do you hang the whole plant?
Interesting, never heard of anyone doing that. Nice cure after that?I stop watering, wet trim and dry in the pot. Takes minimum 12 days to get to a 10-15% BUD moisture content.
