Ok I know your supposed to cure your bud at around 60RH however you do it with humidity packs or whatever but how long dose your buds maintain that % because 60% seems a little damp to maintain and if your constantly releasing the humidity bu burping how are you supposed to maintain 60%

Your drying room should be 70% rh for the first three to 4 days, then lower to 60%, then to 50%. Around 10-14 they should be ready to dry trim. After trimmed throw them into a jar with a small hydrometer. If after a bit they read at 75%+ open the jar and let it air out for the day, close again and check in the morning, keep doing this until they start to level out at 65-60%. If at 65% then continue to open the jars daily but for less time. Keep doing it until they level out at 60%. Don’t do this part with hydro packs. You can, but it won’t come out the same, I promise you, I’ve done it multiple sessions. It’s better to let them come to they’re final RH without them. Once your hydrometer reads a steady 60%+\- then leave them closed, only open them so often to waft fresh air. Do this for two weeks min, throw the hydro packs in there for storage after this part. Trust me. If you put them in too early they hydro packs mess with the chemical process going on until the buds have stabilized at the proper Rh. 60% is fine, I keep mine stored with the 58%. It seems real simple but when I cut and trimmed my bud I didn’t get much snapping of the stems just a little so I felt like they had some moisture in there but my meters were saying they were 45% I couldn’t imagine how wet my buds would of felt if I Jared them and got over 60%

I hang up my large outdoor harvest on lines stretched across room tied up on eye hooks I'm still at work at harvest time so i just leave alone w/4fans and open windows for about a month before I can get to it. By then completely dry, when I begin trim I put a 10gal pot of water on stove and let it throw steam while I'm trimming this puts just the right amount of moisture back into bud without getting wet to mold.From there each strain goes into large tupperware containers. Strains that I'm holding for a long time go into vac. sealed bag then crisper in fridge.ccguns

You can't make them "harder" by drying, and they should "feel" a tad moist when fully dry
Bud density comes from genetics and how its grown.
If you are at 60%, you are good to go. Don't worry about it buddy.
The reason you have to "burb" the first week is that buds hold more moisture in the center, than the outside.
The jars help even out that moisture through the buds, to the point where it will become too moist again (over 65%), you then burp and continue on following the chart i posted above.

So after a certain cure period in the lower sixties humidity range, what should be the humidity range be for servicing/smoking the buds? I don’t want to compromise the THC level be degraded...
