No I don't. I cut branches, trim them, then hang. I'm going to be scrogging my next grow and don't thing I'll be able to get a whole plant out of the net to hang.
I do it all the time, it’s actually not as hard as you may think. I don’t remove the plant from the trellis until I cut off all the big fans, they always seem to be the ones making it hard to move the trellis up and over the plant. Yes the branches will want to fall over but it’s ok. Snip the main stem at the base and you’re good to go. All the extra moisture in the stem and branches slow the dry process down considerably. Might be worth trying.

Cut the plant and remove fan leaves(keep any leaves with lots of trichomes) and hang the branches this will slow the dry process. Wait 7-10 days until the buds are slightly crispy on the outside but still soft inside. Remove buds from the stem and put them in a paper bag. Shake the bag once or twice a day and check it daily for usually 3-4days. This allows the remaining moisture to equalize and slows the process more. After getting shaken in the paper bag a few days test the buds by smoking some. If they burn evenly and leave clean ash they are fully dried and ready for storage. If they burn weird they probably need another day or two. Then do any final trim cleanup they need(lots of the sugar leaf will have been removed in the bag), and jar them up. Check the jars the first few days especially to make sure you did it right ;).
