Co2

Okay so a buddy was telling me about increase yields with closed room with CO2.
If I do this what temperatures can they comfortably handle?
If I use an AC that exhaust air is that considered closed room still?
I think my room would run about 86-90 and 40ish RH if closed up with AC and no other exhaust. Would this work.
he also said the increased heat and co2 helps make sure you don’t get PM or Bugs. Is this true? Everything on Google contradicts itself.

Ya that should work. But you will need a dehumidifier for lights out.

the heat makes most bugs worse. They reproduce faster in warm climates.

You will need an ac that recycles the air with in the room or else you'll just be pumping out all your co2. You can and should run higher temps with supplemental co2 but with this you need higher rh. Ive never heard about it keeping bugs away but if you do a good job of sealing you room properly then it will be more difficult for pest to get in.

So where would I get an AC that recycles the air? I have never heard of one.

Preferably a mini split but they do have dual hose portables that work and window units. Single hose portables recycle the air within the room but they also use that same air to cool the condenser coils and exhaust out.

Im running home brew co2, so mostly closed, temps 90 ish rh 80. Never had them grow better, no pm as humidity too high, l vent 1 hr b4 lights out to 1 hr after to flush humidity and replenish O2 for sleep, l dont open tent for at least 1 hr after lights come on so they suck up co2 buildup.

Adding Co2 and utilizing it efficiently is one of the more costly additions to your grow op. There are more affordable alternatives like mentioned above but I have no direct experience myself. Adding co2 no doubt has its benefits. For me the increase in growth rates and yield come second to being able to run higher temps being that I live in a hot region. I use co2 tanks and trolmaster environmental controller.

Even the homebrew gives more co2 then ambient so l figured why not, until i can find cheap co2 setup. Im happy with resuts, l flower as soon as leaves are same circumferance as pot, about 8 inch clones. Some over 3 ft when done, larf is gram buds. And higher temps. Are taken in stride along with higher rh.

I get you. I don't have the time to constantly monitor and disperse co2 myself so the trolmaster does a great job for co2 and automating all my other equipment. I have seen that the home brew does provide more than ambient from a few users here that use it so in those regards I say its a plus.
