Maximizing Terpenes??? How?

I am finding that my buds are lacking the amazing terpenes smell of others on the market. I understand about drying at 70 degrees/50 RH slowly.

And also curing for a month or two at least.

What else can I do to ensure my nugs have a great stench?

I've lowered the temps during final flush to around 73 degrees.

Will dry at 60-68. Normally I thought 68 was best but if you guys say 60 is better I'll try that lower.

Okay guys, I guess that is it then. I will work on this more carefully going forward.

Even using the grow tent to dry, so as to control environment much better.

Which strains do you guys recommend as well for max Terps? For example I'm growing Wedding Cake now (just soso in the market here) but I was recommended to grow Gelato, Zkittles, GG#4 or Sherbet. I guess I could add Runtz to that list, maybe Sour D or OG Kush.

Sorry to tell you this but it's not all about the genetics. Do small environmental improvements every round. Study optimal watering techniques and feeding frequency. Every single modern genetic should reek in flower if healthy and fed properly.

You need to better your understanding about where you have room for improvements. Try different growing methods but start with the one covering all the basics like controlled feedings with every watering(EC and pH).

I recommend a complete liquid mineral based plant food from start to finish with a coir based mix with about 30% perlite. Coir should be your substrate of choice when living in Asia.

Like other suggested I think you need to better your drying process. I like 10-15C(50-60F), humidity is controlled by itself if you vent the space properly. I start at 75% and it's lowered by itself in 14 days.

Drying is the most important thing for optimal taste and smell.

Sorry to tell you this, but all other things being equal it comes down to genetics.

If you aren't feeding properly, have a good environment, or are drying properly then genetics don't really matter.

The conversation is about properly grown marijuana. Not some newbies 2 week flowering auto.

You're very argumental for someone's growing Autos in your mom's basement? I think you need to re-read what I actually wrote?

I'm still right. It only comes down to genetics. BRB mom's making meatloaf.
Cute.. So that's why most people grow mids regardless of top notch genetics? I see you have everything figured out?

The thread title is about maximizing terpenes, that means aromatic compounds ie. smells. Like I stated before Cannabis is a very aromatic plant naturally either way and should reek in flower if healthy regardless of genetic. I think 99% of people on here use modern hybrids.

Be good to your mother. Cheers!
