Is using a entire product line overkill?

Most likely no. If there are many products making up the line it is likely going to fry your plants. What brand are you speaking of? I know GH has 13 bottles in the pro line which is just crazy.

Schedule could be close but I would always feed on a level that plants request.

Ok than defiantly not. As I mentioned there are 13 bottles in the GH line, most of which overlap something already being given. GH 3 part with some CaliMagic and Epsom Salt will get you there just fine and I dropped the Calmag since I am using tap water. The Epsom Salt with the trio does just fine for me.

I was reading another person’s grow diary and it seemed to work out very well. I used GH recommended chart you don’t throw everything in at once they’ll have you use the 3 base plus silica, and call mag, along with root hormones basically in veg you use 6 different products at certain dosages, I used less than recommended. I had decent results using all, now I ponder would it have been better just to use the base nutes.
