Yes you need to build one! Fun project that will get you out in the fresh air a little more. At least that's what I am hoping!! And you can cheat on dog walks....lol. I use to do that with my shepherd...If I didn't feel like walking, break out the ATV, and everyone was happy. You could also build a trike version like JJ has, with a front wheel motor.Man that's awesome

What would you suggest a Motors that are in the rim or an external motorYes you need to build one! Fun project that will get you out in the fresh air a little more. At least that's what I am hoping!! I really don't know, and I think it depends what you want to do with it. For general cruising I think a rear wheel motor kit, or for a trike maybe a front wheel motor. What would you suggest a Motors that are in the rim or an external motor

@doublejj rocks a e-trike and a cool redbull helmet. His pics are on page 7 of this thread.Well, I can tell much about it. Moreover I have 2 different bikes. Those are bicycle and tricycle for adult. It was hard for me in the beginning but now I ride without any problems. Who doesn't know much, tricycle offers stability and more comfort during (long) bike rides compared to a regular bike with side wheels. That's pretty important for me which makes the ride really good. I've bought it back in april 2020 when the pandemic started and I was forced to stay at home. Riding became some kind of hobby for me.
You mean this one? https://www.rollitup.org/t/tell-me-about-your-bicycle.1027993/page-7#post-15744056@doublejj rocks a e-trike and a cool redbull helmet. His picks are on page 7 of this thread.
You can build a Walmart special Schwinn e-trike for around $500. I'm pretty sure he would love it.I'm trying to talk my uncle into building an e-trike like @doublejj has...He is 70 y.o. and his balance isn't great so he quit bike riding but I know he enjoys it!
I forgot to tell you guys I got a new bike...another WalMart special but I don't do any hard core riding so it works...It seems like it would be perfect for converting to an e-bike....or I may ride it for the summer and return it Mechanical disc brakes, nice wide handlebars, 9 speed trigger shifters, 29" wheels. It's fun to ride!!
