Def from ???

I’m in week 5 of flower and I’m starting to get a def from what looks like a nitrogen or a potassium issue. It could be a potassium issue but I’ve been feeding them and making sure the ph stays at 5.9-6.7 within its range. I feel like it might be the soil compacted and was wondering if it would stress out the ladies or mess up the intake if I got a rubber mallet and hit the sides of the bucket to loosen the soil a bit to be safe than sorry and prevent nutrient lock out. So far they look great but starting to yellow up on me.

It’s real just wondering if I hit the buckets and loosened the soil if it would prevent lockout if that be it’s issue.

You have to use a framing hammer or it won't work

Me neither but I figured it would work. I’d be safer than trying to dig in roots and would vibrate the soil loose. Just wondering if anybody else though of trying it

I’ve feed em like I’m suppose to and the ph is where it needs to be. It Could be a little more acidic but it’s ph is balanced fine so I’m thinking it has to be a compacted soil.

I’m only running the 4000 at 50% where it’s in the closet this round.

Just bury a spare key in the pot and you'll never have lockout

By loosening the soil with vibration avoiding root damage. I could put worms in the buckets and let them dig through to lessen the soil or I could poke holes with chopsticks but then I chance hitting roots and I’m to far in flower for that. My plant on the left I’m not so worried about but the one on the right is acting like the soil is all stuck together cause water pours clean through it when I water it and it’s turning yellow slowly

Is your soil peat based, and has it became hydrophobic? If so, use a surfactant. I use yucca extract

All the vibrations will do is further compact the soil by allowing smaller particles to fill the tiny gaps that already exist. Gravity won't let you fluff up your soil in this manner

It's called knocking sense into them. Forces them to take up all the right nutrients before they really get the shit smacked out of them.

If the hammer doesn't work use air stones.

Sticking them in your medium with help aerate your medium. I learned that trick from @Autofire. He got improved growth on the plants he used airstones on also.
