I want to move these 2 plants to separated pots. Yes I know.. how dumb of me to put them both in the same pot.. Well they're 5 weeds old and the roots are everywhere.. Can someone tell me a way i can repot them without breaking off any roots? Yes I'm pretty sure they are tangled

sorry I'd be lying if I said yes, the good news is they are extremely tough plants and will bounce back in a day or so. When I repot I ROUGHLY uncomb all the roots so that the new ones aren't restricted in there out growth lots of bits and pieces get ripped of in the process.

Bummer. Short of untangling every root, I think you might just have to slice them apart.

im no expert for sho but the aluminum foil could create hot spots esp being so close and right up under it.
although, not sure wat air flow you have going on so that would be a factor to go along with that

I'm no expert either but I use the foil under reflectors too with no problems, even outside. I have never seen this "hot spot" phenomenon that everyone warns about.
