About time for harvest should I wait

this is week 9 of flower
Like @twentyeight.threefive has said so what if it’s week 9 of flower.

the plant is ready when it’s ready.

let me ask you this.

If you were growing tomatoes and it said 8 weeks of flowering and after 8 weeks your tomatoes were still green. Would you harvest and add those green tomatoes to your salad?

same principle.

your plants are not ready regardless of what flowering time the breeder says.

Too many variables can slow flowering response

It's impossible to harvest late. Relax.

But I can already tell you are going to harvest early. How can I tell? Despite being told by multiple people that you have a month to go you continue to post. I'd wager money that you chop them within the next two weeks. Eventually you might figure it out.

I know what you mean. Look out for the ambering. If the trichs start ambering up a bunch it's ready.

also be careful handling the buds a bunch and molesting them will break trichs and cause more ambering than normal. And will make it look like it's ready early. So don't be molesting the shit out of it every day checking if it's ready. Leave it two weeks from now and check

but just from the abundant white pistils you are faaaaar out still.

also early harvest almost always results in poor quality smoke in my experience. Letting a girl finish up properly really makes the smell a lot sweeter and smoke smoother.

Trichomes are only one indicator of many different indicators.

the first indicator to start checking Trich’s is that all your pistils have browned and receded back into the calyx.

trichomes are ALWAYS in a state of flux when it comes to clear milky and Amber depending upon where you look on the plant.

But again I ask you would you pluck a young green tomatoe?

no because it’s not ripe.

when it becomes red you begin to check it’s ripeness but you don’t check ripeness when the tomatoes are still green!!!

Your plants are still not ripe to even check yet.

Google ripe cannabis plant image. That’s what your looking for. I’ve not checked trichomes in years, you just know.

That's a terrible suggestion. Half the images out there stating they are ripe aren't even close. Kind of like 90% of the people harvesting on here.
