So I’m looking into ph meters , and I’m willing to spend the money but , I really find the calibration to be a nuisance . I’m looking into the exstik ph100 , when it says 1 , 2, or 3 point calibration can I just use the 7.0 calibration and call it a day? Someone help ya boy out
never mind, I’m stupid
You're so right I’ve researched them for about 4 hours I ordered a blue lab combo meter.I think you need to look into them a bit more.
Can’t you just test a slurry sample if you want to test your soil? Or test the runoff? The $150 for the combo ph tester was already out of my budget the soil probe was and extra $130 bucks on top of that, so that’s why I went with just regular probeAlso keep in mind proper storage of the probe or you'll be replacing the probes more often than necessary. I was going to chime in with don't go with el'cheapo brands - you get what you pay for in this department it seems.
I went BlueLab myself and finally replaced my probe with their soil probe since it can be used both ways.
This right here. I just figure out which colors my plants grow best at and ride that shit out. I spent years dealing with pH meters and bad readings. Drops work everytime, no calibration. Simple lotech is the best option sometimes.buy a cheap bottle of ph colourdrops. Easy and accurate. Can be used as backup. Or standalone.
