Get that soil less hot mate, it really is good advice, I've burnt a few plants that way, there are more ways than perlite to get good drainage search for them.

Basic soil growing information would have helped.

if you had no perlite you should have waited and ordered what you need.

not lose your shit because someone said to you that you were given advice and didn’t follow it.

I really hope you come back as there is a wealth of knowledge on RIU and no matter where you go if you ask for advice, get given it and then subsequently don’t follow it and ask for more advice you’re gonna get roasted no matter what site you’re on.
