A piece of mylar (like a disposable emergency blanket) stapled to plywood is better and a hell of a lot cheaper.I went to lowes and saw a 10x10 piece of aluminum and thought it would be a good reflective wall? Anyone know different?
usually you'll find them in the camping gear section of a store, for like $2, I think.do they sell those at lowws?
Aluminum is beter then nothing im hoping.
mylar, I saw the actual results of a scientific research , unfortunately I never saved it. (Flat) white paint out performs both aluminum foil and mirrorsyeah im debating between heat blankets like mylar or flat white paint for my box
whats better between those 2 paint or mylar?
I got one even cheaper. I use old potato chip bags split open and cleaned off of course.A very inexpensive form of Mylar is the reverse side of "foil wrapping paper."
You don't want the X-mas theme facing your plants. The shiny side is a very good reflector and doesn't burn spots unlike foil.
Dollar Store for the low low.
J-
Reflective Mylar. Why not?does the chip bag thing really work?
