The original was a specific cut that Ken had given to him, which is still available to buy clones of at some Cali dispensaries.

Just harvested another from ILGM.
She wasn't the biggest due to me switching nutrients mid grow, but still not too shabby.

Not good at all. Prob too many nutes. Had good solid buds but that's about it. My 1st indoor harvest was a disappointment. Gets me plenty high but tastes like garbage.

Ugh, that’s not encouraging, although it looks pretty good right now. I’m trying the maxigro, and maxiBloom for the first time with very light feedings. So far I like it.

IMO, growing a seed-version of a clone-only strain like GDP will often lead to disappointment. Not always, but often.

I use the maxibloom as well.
Its prob average weed when grown right. These runs are testers so shit like this was bound to happen. I'm just glad I'm doing this with ILGM seeds instead of good ones. I just grabbed some GDP from Mel Frank so if those don't get me what I'm looking for then maybe try Kens but doubt it. Also looking at DVG.

That pack of Original GDP seeds is probably as good as it gets if you can't get a clone. I'd like to see how those come out. I've thought about ordering them before, but they were crazy expensive. Have you grown any of that GDP yet?

I don't think that's the real "Ken's cut", which was given to Ken (stole from and took credit for?) from some Native Americans. The reason I don't think it's Ken's cut" is because Dark Heart says this:
"Created by breeder Ken Estes, Ken’s Granddaddy Purple differs from most GDP cuts. Ken’s GDP has been crossed back into itself creating a more potent, effective and robust strain."

That's a really good point. They also don't directly claim it to be "GDP (Ken's Cut)", they call it "Ken's GDP". In either case, I somehow missed the post showing Growbag already got some GDP seeds.. My bad.
