If you hang the buds up. The THC will go down the bud an drop to the floor. So you'd need to put like a buncha wax paper underneath to scoop up the remainder THC content for later
When I put larf onto a hanging net there's a lot of shake and kief that falls though, which I catch at the bottom. That's from shuffling it around to dry quicker. I'm sure some triches are falling off during the hanging process from fans and moving around or whatever, but no thc is running down the bud let alone dripping onto the floor.

You're not trying to dry your freshly chopped buds in a bin using Boveda packs are you?

It is very straight forward. Try to keep drying temps below 70° and RH below 60%..Those are the guidelines that people play with depending on their environment, but a slow dry is your goal. So if you gotta hang wet trimmed branches or whole trees that need dry trimmed, you do whatever your environment and room conditions will allow. Once your smaller stems snap, but not break, you can trim, buck and jar. From there it is just proper burping to bring humidity in the jar down to your target.

But again, these are just guidelines..
Everyone has their own little method that they are comfortable with. Just don't fuck it up by harvesting early!

In order to not harvest early, you must cut the plant once 75% if the hairs turn brown right?

Ay man I'll embrace the fact that I've only had a few successful grows. I'm just hoping to make this one my best yet ya know? What type was your choice to grow again? Indoor, outdoor, hydro soil?
Indoor. Promix. Preferably.
Ya man. Always get better and learn. Become the sponge.

"Boost" is an alternative brand of humidity packs which are a bit cheaper but I prefer the "Boveda" brand as it fits better in the lid of the mason jar.

Boveda packs can be recharged if it goes dry, not sure if this is the case with Boost.

Boveda makes a wide range of packs ranging from 32% RH to 84% which are designed for specific uses, such as wood instruments and cigars.
