Thanks buddy, I should have included some pics of the lower buds, still a few white hairs and growth down there. Would that change your mind to give it another week?Looks good
I’d say at least a couple of weeks mate. They haven’t swelled yet, some are further than others, but worth the wait to get them fully ripe.. it’s hard to overdo but very easy to under do! All those hairs should recede and change colour and they will swell even if it doesn’t look like it.Thanks buddy, I should have included some pics of the lower buds, still a few white hairs and growth down there. I agree, this is why I figure I'll be harvesting maybe 7 out of 10. I know a few will need longer than the two weeks from when I took those pics this past Saturday since they're less ripe. I am scoping trichs, but I can't get a picture with the thing I have worth a damn.I’d say at least a couple of weeks mate. I have done this before. I was hoping to harvest these plants whole and not break them down since I live in a really dry environment. Anything I can do to slow the dry!Has anyone ever chopped the tops and let the bottoms go longer? Jw bc I e heard an ol timer say that so the big dense tops weren’t lost to mold if the October rains came early. I realize these are inside but figured I could add another layer to this.
My closet runs real dry.. growing in dirt doesn’t leave much moister in the space. I live in an old farm house with an abstract dating to the 1800’s so I know dry my man and can appreciate that. I use my space to dry (only a few days) then it’s straight to the CVaults with 62% rh packs and burped daily (and tested for quality of course).I have done this before. That's pretty much what I've been doing, but I'd like to extend the actual "drying" portion of the job a few days. Everywhere you read slower dry = better smoke, so I want to be able to compare for myself. My closet runs real dry.. growing in dirt doesn’t leave much moister in the space. Have had good success so far doing this but I’m only like 4-5 grows in am love discussing the subject matter
