I still use them. Rubber stoppers come in a range of standardized sizes. Since realizing the long-term limitations of corks, I bought a pack of 50 2-hole rubber stoppers and some, I think, 16 gauge steel. Eventually, all corks will be replaced with rubber. Everything I'm working with is a work-in-progress for the design of the grow space I'll use in a few years: one year to learn basics/broad experimentation, one year to phenoytpe and get my perpetual bloom going, utilizing the various strains and their capabilities most-effectively (thanks, bk78, for the perpetual bloom suggestion, by the way); and then upward from there, I guess. Really want to go vertical in my next grow, I've got some random build question posts about what I'm trying to do down the road.
