Week 10 of flower. Blue Dream. Sugar leaves are dieing on buds. Yellowing & dry lead leaves.q Is this normal or lockout?

Good Morning ALL. & I want to 1st say I appreciate any of your time. This is my 1st grow & I'm strictly only doing 1 plant. I just want to be able to medicate for I need pain mgmt. But dont do pain pills. *SO, All was well. I did some stress training & fattened up the stems. Nice big buds formed. I am using the General Hydroponics trio & growing in Ocean Forrest soil. I use half of what General Hydro suggests. I also use 2mI of CalMag with each gallon of distilled water I use. I feed nutes every other feed but only Once a week. I started using Kool Bloom as well. Then at the gardening store I saw something called Bud Candy. I talked with the store owner about it & made the decision to add it in the mix as well. I use kool bloom & bud candy the same week. The week after I feed nutes. So I alternate week to week. I admit the last few weeks I used the amount it recommended with the bud candy & kool bloom. Instead of half like I do other nutes. I water every 2nd or 3rd day. So I try not to over water. Although this girl is always thirsty. Anyhow, I flushed a few days ago because my PPMs where at 2000 at bottom of medium. This startled me. So I flushed again & got her down around 1400 PPM. I thought I had a lockout due to more PPMs coming out then what I was putting in? Then another dude told me 2000 is normal 1st flush?! Fuck. I didn't think so.. but I am new to this grow thang. What I'm more concerned about is my sugar leaves are dieing & brittle. Like dead. Now it does start from the tips & works its death around the edges. & buds still seem healthy. Also alot of yellowing leaves. So is this all normal in week 10. Is she just doing her thang? I also just read Blue Dream can go up to 14 weeks or so?? So I hope I didn't cut her food off too soon. Anyhow. I'm keeping an eye on my trichomes. Only a few amber as of now. Mostly cloudy. I've been running distilled water the whole time with PH at 6.5. I flushed this last week. I dont know if in starving her or fixing an issue. I damn sure dont want to fuck up this late in the game. So any advise is appreciated. Pictures attached. Thanks again!!

Yea. I thought Blue Dream was a 9 or 10 week strain. Now see it's much longer. I guess you live & you learn. I just hope I didn't learn the hard way. Hope she's going to be okay. I can feed her.

How was it doing before you started with the Kool bloom and bud candy at full strength?

That plant has 3 weeks at least btw...

They look like they have a ways to go, at least 3 or 4 weeks, so they still need to be fed, and they also look like they are getting watered a little to often. And as for additives, they are not really needed as you can get the same results by just adjusting your base nutrients! Anyway, if they were my plants I would just use the base nutrients for the rest of the way... 1 parts grow, 3 parts micro, and 6 parts bloom >>> 2ml grow, 6ml micro, 12ml bloom!

Blue dream is like any other strain. It'll go to week: 10 weeks to when its done. She looks hungry what ec or ppm are you feeding? How are you feeding it how often and ratio of each.

Thank you so much for the feed back. Yea, I forgot to mention I stopped using Cal Mag a few weeks ago. After reading it's not needed. So not sure if that was right cuz I'm using straight distilled water this whole grow.

Thank you so much for your feedback. They looked great. All healthy & green. This just started when I gave them 2 weeks of full blast & then flush after that (I thought I was on my last 2 weeks. I was wrong. Now I feel I might have made a nute lock issue & then went to straight flush this last week after I felt PPMa were too high. Double what i was putting in. Although my PH in soil and run off check was fine. Around 7.

They want your money and when your plant ends up looking like shit, like now, I bet he'll have something else to sell you to fix it...

Dump that stupid shit and go back to feeding normal. Use cal-mag with your distilled.

It may take a few more gallons to clean it out then you'll need to feed again, don't forget that part.

*Week 1, added to 1 gallon of distilled water. Micro 2ml , Grow .5 , Bloom 2ml. (I was doing 2ml of cal Mag. But stop Cal Mag all together recently). **Week 2, 4ml Kool Bloom , 2 days later I do 5ml of Bud Candy. Then week after I go back to other nute schedule. Thanks again for all your feedback.

Kool Bloom is unbalancing your feed. The trio has all you need. If you want to use some bud candy that is OK....but cut the kool bloom. The ppm is high, but unbalanced and causing problems.

I have not watered in 3 days. So I just flushed 3 gallons of distilled throw er. Her run off is now sitting around 900. Is that okay to feed next time now? It was at 2000. Then gor her down to 1400 last flush (3 days ago). Now she's at 890 today after 2nd flush. Guess I should let her dry. Then feed. Or would you feed after flush (same day)? Thx. Again.

I keep hearing not to flush. I thought that was how you clear an issue. Like the issue I have made with too much potassium. I get that too much flushes can be bad. Although it definitely seems necessary at times like this. After it dries in 3 days. I shall feed her a good meal. *Also, I have heard Mammoth P is good for this type of situation (because after 2 flushes PPM is still at 1200). I just dont want to make it a bigger issue. Meh, ya grow & you learn I reckon. I def. Wont be trying to boost the potassium that high again. I'm having hell getting my medium at the right #'s now. Although others say dont worry about the PPM?! Can be confusing for a new grower. I think the lesson here for me is less is more. Cheers!

Organic grow with no added nutes...we don't care about ppm. But if you deplete soil and then feed it the FF trio or another feed, the plant has very ready to use nutrients and will take up too much if offered too much
