You can tell he’s never worked for anything in his life. I like your prices. I was more than happy with what I was sent.
I didn’t think you were doing fem seeds. What happened? The capitalist in you just had to do it?
Yep. I personally rarely to never buy feminized seeds, as I prefer regulars, esp when the norm in the feminized breeding world is to take some clone only, usually cookies cake desert line and put it on some other cookie clone line. Pretty rare to see feminized projects built off the breeders line and not just clone only stuff. but, for years Ive been asked to put my standards on some feminized projects. and then my hand got somewhat forced when my orange dreams seed line (regulars) that I love wouldn't produce very many males, and the males it did produce didn't pass my stress testing... and i didn't want the line to die, and my best option was to go with the feminized route. Now that I have done fems and done the process, I have a lot more respect for it, as its not nearly as easy as I believed prior. Much much easier in hawaii to stick a male in the greenhouse and have a fully seeded crop then it is to baby a dozen reversals here in hawaii, as the density and resin catches the pollen and it wants to mold like crazy in our 99% nightly humidity. And now that Ive tested out reversal seeds, and seen first hand I can keep my standards on stress testing and still have stable excellent lines, I plan to do quite a bit more reversals. Just finished my Mac Dragon reversal, and next up we are going to do my blackberry moonshine bx1 pheno found by mischif mike reversal. You wont ever see my reversing the flavor of the month clone only though. just not my style.
We got quite a few balls in the air for sure.
Just did the mac dragon, and the Vietnamese black preservation, and just flipped the purple dalat viet preservation / outcrossing cycle. Next is the bms bx1 reversal in the gh, and then after the dalat, we got a large pool of a Shillong Indian landrace from the wettest part of the world. getting first open pollinated then Ill start also working the line. I also want to reverse the blackberry moonshine #12 mom, which is my longest running clone mother Ive found and held thru time and several moves now.
Our second jungle property finally is online as well, and that greenhouse is week 4 now, and got some excellent lines in their im Running thru to see what we can find. That cycle was a lot of my older / dying lines, so I suspect any winners from that will be added to the list to reverse someday.
