More like if you've got the money, more AC exists! lolIf there is a will, there is a way

I was drying shit last week and it was 45c where I'm at. Cardboard box is legit.I was hoping to harvest this weekend, but with record breaking heat and subpar AC I don't think that's going to happen.
Good to see the ideas here on how to deal with drying in higher temps... But living in a heavily insulated place near the arctic, I think my only choice is to wait until the weather cools. There's no way my portable AC unit can keep up with the temps in my place in this type of heat.

I was skimming while I was at work and missed the frozen bottles. Brilliant! It's hot and dry here, I might try a variation of what you have going on! Freeze 4-5 2L bottles. Hang plants top of tent. Frozen bottles on tent floor with small circulation fan on floor blowing over bottles. Swap bottles out every 8-12 hoursI was drying shit last week and it was 45c where I'm at. One for follow up if you don’t mind. For the frozen bottles, do I want the lids off or on, if that makes a difference-and do I want a small clip fan inside on the bottles?I was drying shit last week and it was 45c where I'm at. Cardboard box is legit.

Kk, thanks again. I’m heading to the hardware store later today, so don’t be surprised if I hit you with some pics of my final product lolAfter they froze I put the caps back on to prevent leaking when they thaw. I did not put a fan inside the box. Had a ceiling fan overhead on and an oscillating fan aimed in the general direction of the box
Same dude. Thank fuck for having central airEdmonton area. It keeps getting worse each time I check too. Just my luck to have record breaking heat right at my harvest time.
I was reading that we've only had 5 days above 30C in before the end of June in the past 10 years. About to get 5 or 6 in a row this year.

One reason I shut down growing from June to august lol.Yeah my AC is insufficient. I picked up a 14k BTU portable AC at costco, but it struggled with the 29C days to cool my place. My place is basically full sun from 11am to 11pm, and insulated well so it ends up hot and staying hot through the night. Basically living in a solar oven. Putting that little AC unit to the test lol.
Let's hope it drops after Thursday. That's plenty of heat for this far north.
I'll be doing the same where I am.One reason I shut down growing from June to august lol.
Our homes are so insulated and usually without AC, so when it gets into the 90s it will be hotter inside than out, which as you can imagine is unpleasant...Not in Canada but totally understand the idea of shutting down over Summer. This year I am vegging over Summer to take advantage of the higher temps and rh that comes with it.
It's only jealously that makes me laugh that a few days in the 90s is way hot for y'all!
So I started working on my wardrobe box for drying and testing out RH/temp.I'll be doing the same where I am.
