New large grow.

Hello all!
just wanted to share my experience as well as get some advice from the OG growers. Ive grown previously but never upscaled my operation.
currently I am starting with a 150 sq ft room. With 12 plants on 2-3 750w (currently only need 2) I have 1000w lights but can only run them at 750w until I get a subpanel installed in the basement.
I do have a question as to what I can expect from my current 12 if I veg for 2-3 months as well as what you guys would do with the space. I plan on cloning the largest plants and continuing off those
I’m working out of a basement and I have 2 separate rooms and the large basement area. My plan is to set up 4 rooms total. 2 veg and 2 flower. One small area for clones. I would like to harvest every 3 months from both flower rooms. I plan on running 12-16 750-1000HPS in the two flower rooms and 12-16 LEDs in the Veg rooms.
the basement has ac from the house flowing in. I have an exhaust fan leaving the room and one of three fans set up currently
see the attached pictures for the first room !
this is in a MI basement.
the three strains I got from a local cloner. (lemon sour diesel, Star glue and bday cake)
I’m open to any suggestions.

To clarify. 6-8 lights per room for a total of 12-16 in the two rooms combined.
If you're ready to move up you should know your costs and production levels. If you don't you need to concentrate on what those are. Then you will be able to project if it's fiscally prudent for you to scale up ;D

It's a nice thing to think about as you start paying attention to what all goes into and comes out of your grow. Unless you happen to be independently wealthy and are doing all this for your own entertainment in which case the answer no longer matters :D

Enjoy your journey but none of us can quantify your grow, only you.

16 lights?? Not sure if you are aware but you need 6-8T of cooling just to get by.

what's your plan for dehumidification? Just those exhaust fans? Are they venting out of the house?
You should stagger your rooms so you harvest every other month. Otherwise kind of boom and bust in terms of work load.

Also 12 LEDs for veg? Why so many? What wattage are they? I can veg 200 clones and my moms under 400-500W of LED.

I think you should consider going LEDs for one of your flower rooms. Will help reduce your AC load a little. Unless you already have a big AC to handle all that wattage

edit:
One more thing. Have you considered running the rooms on flip flop? When it's day in one it's night inn another? That way you are only ever dealing with half the watts for heat. And you could proba get by with the existing AC.

+1 on flip flop, this was how we reached some of our best runs. We used the heat from one room to warm the other during it's of hours. Also meant that we could use only one burner for CO2.

So you know I've grown in MI up close to traverse city so I know what's needed to handle MI winters while growing.

You need to realize you need an shit ton of dedicated ac. Come winter time I'm sure you're not.going to yourself so cooling is going to need to be on the top of your list. Dehumidifiers are next . Also for 150 sqft you need 6 lights to get the light you need. How big is this sub panel going to be? Are you running 240v. Have you figured out if you have enough service in your area to provide the amps needed to run something this scale? Soooo many questions you need to think about.

Every two weeks is what I shoot for as far as harvest go.

I have a grow in about the same space. I get 4 per year. But if you have a seperate veg area, you can defintely pull 5-6 per year if you're fast at cleaning and have a seperate drying area. I've managed #19-21 ranging from 12 plants to 16.
No Refrigerated AC here either. I use evaporative and high humidity

One guy on this site was doing 40 with 12 lamps and 12 plants.

harvesting both rooms at onces seems like a waste of workload, I would rather harvest one every month. (if I had two rooms in the same space I would lightly scrog and let the plants veg a week or two in the flower room to fill the net).

there's alot of questions about the logistics of running a huge grow like this (huge based upon power draw).
A) why arent your lights vented that's alot of heat.
B) I know a guy who runs 2 1k 24/7 veg and 10 1ks in the flower room. with all the logistics to go with it. his power bill is 6-800$ a month. your running 2 times as many.
C) as far as timing / room spaces, I would want a 4*8 for mother's/ clones. a 10 *10 to let the plants veg for 4-8 weeks. than the two flower rooms. + a 4*8 for storage.
D) plant count can matter. people like Rufus can get 40ps off 12 plants but that's not easy, I got 3/4 of a p off my mother plant in a 20 gallon that vegged for 4 months, under a 1k. to be fair it's the first plant I ever owned but; a perfect run under a 1k is 2 lbs, I would make sure you're going to be happy getting only 1lb consistently. you can probably stay dialed in at 1.5

Agreed! Currently we’re in a place where myself and my partner have no issues financially and we’re looking for the best options to make this a profitable grow in terms of yield !
thank you so much for your comment and advice

Nice then you have the flexibility to try some more expensive things and then resell them without regret if they don't work for you. It does make growing a lot more enjoyable.

Also why would you like to harvest every 3 months? Both flower rooms should be on flip cycle and you should be harvesting 1 room every month or so.

@Lordhooha
Bk my friend this is a great question. I guess in all honestly lack of knowledge. My thought process was to gain a giant yield every 3 months so I could have the help of my partnerbut it does make more sense to space it out.

My partner and I only have time to work together every 3 months so I was thinking of sharing the load by harvesting two rooms every 3 months.

Honestly I’m extremely grateful for all these comments. I am new to these larger grows but so excited to get it going.
I have over estimated what I need for Veg by quite a bit. I like the idea of flip flop as well as having a room with my flowers under an Led. All great suggestions to consider. Thank you for your advice

Thank you for your advice !! And you growing in Michigan is great experience

no heat will be run in the house during the winter months. There are dehumidifiers rated for 250 sq ft in every 150 sq ft area.
I am rated the upgrade needed ! Through the advice of many here I understand I need significantly less for my veg than previously thought. Once the dedicated subpanel is installed electricitywon’t be an issue !

how in the world do you harvest so often and how much do you yield doing so ?
