Purple Punch Auto

Hi everybody!
First time grower here who has read a lot about growing. However, there are many things I know you can only learn from experience. I'm currently growing a Purple Punch Autoflower by Barney's Farm Genetics outdoors in So Cal. It's been quite warm lately(90s during the day and mid 60s at night) and I'm on day 65 from germination. She's been budding for a few weeks now but I am not seeing any purple colors to her. With the strong purple genetics within her I thought she should be showing some colors by now. Does it sometimes not show until the end of flowering? Or does it ALWAYS have to due with cold weather being the activist for getting that purple hue? Any input from experienced growers will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that there is no guarantee that every single phenotype will show purple some will show lots some will show none I could be wrong about that I'm currently growing the BF PP as well and I hope I get some nice colors ..Goodluck!

Plants look good. My feedback would be why waste time on an autoflower for an outdoor grow? The whole point of growing outdoors is to let the natural light cycle influence your flowering. By growing auto outdoors you're getting much less veg time and a smaller plant than just doing a normal feminized seed.

I've got multiple reasons! Haha
I get a lot of foot traffic near my property, so I don't want my crop stolen over night. Growing these are way more stealth then growing a 6-10ft photoperiod...
I'm new to this, so I want to practice as much as possible growing.. With autos it gives me 3-4 crops a year in my area, with photos I'm stuck with one crop a year.
I also get more practice drying and curing.
So basically it's to gain knowledge and experience and to protect my crop from thieves....
I do have one photoperiod growing by the way....haha

Thanks fat leg!
And good luck with yours! It's a vigorous grower outdoors, loving her so far! I took these photos two days ago and my buds have already changed so much. She's beefing up and crystallizing!
