Hey guys. So, this is my first time growing alone. I learned what I know from a couple older guys that I had the pleasure of growing with for 2 years. I tried to retain all the information i learned while growing with them but apparently some of that knowledge has been forgotten. Anyway. I am growing outdoors in the Maritimes here in Canada. I just put my 4 girls outside last week. My question is this. I wasn't really sure on what soil to buy, and I should have researched it first. I asked the lady working at the store i bought my soil at and she pointed me towards the Miracle Gro Moisture Control (will add photo below). Come to find out, the nutrients are time released and are supposed to last for 6 months. I know the nutes in the soil contain a lot of nitrogen. Even though it says 6 month time release, do you guys think it will drastically effect my plant in the flowering stage? I've read multiple other posts on this forum and I've read mixed reviews.. Some say it is fine, some say it isn't. Is there a way I can flush the nutes out closer to the flowering stage? I realize that the nutes are released when watering.. but am I able to gradually release them faster than the 6 months? Should I transfer them to new soil? I'd rather not smoke weed that is full of chems.. Any advice would be nice. I'd also rather not spend anymore money if I don't have to. I also added a tablespoon of bone meal to each pot of soil when I planted and a handful of sheep manure. All 4 plants seem to be doing well, and have grown a fair amount since I put them outside 6 days ago. I should be harvesting around the beginning to middle of October.. put outside on june 26th. The picture with all 4 plants was the day I put outside. Thanks in advance.
