Quit questions

I have to quit growing. I'm having way too many problems in this location. Basement ceiling is too low, PM is a bitch, high humidity. Curses all around.

I'm probably going to let my current crop finish, it's got like 8 more weeks.

What should I do with all this used equipment once I'm done with the crop? That is, is this equipment cleanable or should I try to unload it and buy new when I eventually get a new space. I don't have much hope for selling this stuff.

I tried selling a Sun System LEC 315 for $50.00 and got zero offers. I did get a bunch of unsolicited growing advice. LOL

Any idea how long it will be until you can get back to growing? I would try and sell it if it would be a few years, get whatever when you get back into it. Mostly I am thinking of the advances in led lights as an example, if I were making a setup now they seem like an obvious choice vs a few years back when they sucked.

I used to see quite a bit of grow equipment on Craigslist, no clue if it actually sold, there is quite a bit of growing where I am so I assumed someone would buy it. That's a mighty good price on the LEC, not sure if possible but maybe list the stuff in the closest city rather than local if you live in a smaller area.

At least a year before I could be in a new place.

I don't want to move everything to a new spot and have the same PM problem. The PM has probably infested everything in this house. PM is everywhere in the yard. I've got a dehumidfer that probably circulates the PM pretty good because it runs continuously.

You're right. Used equipment won't catch a bid on CL. That light is/was give-away at $50.00 and it sits in the basement.

If your really want to sell it
Try hitting up usedhydroshop818
On Instagram. They buy and sell equipment. Not sure about your location or any idea what they might offer. Just a possible place to sell.

 Sorry to hear that your grows are so difficult. PM is fixable and preventable but u have to keep the space ventilated and fairly dry and if thats difficult or expensive, i understand why youre cashing in…maybe find a couple stealthy outdoor spots. Sometimes you gotta risk it for the biscuit.

There's more than one issue.

I'm in a stinky basement with weak ventilation. A real hell hole.

I turned the fan away from my two mother plants for a day.... I start noticing PM. That's what made me change course of action. I just sprayed them with Eagle 20 about 2 weeks ago.

The ceilings are another thing. I have an 80" tall tent and 1,000W ballasts. The plants nearest the lights always fry - it took me forever to figure that out. The ballasts are dimmable but I need switchable for lower wattage bulbs.

Good thought about the outside grow. I planted a bunch of seeds earlier in the year scattered throughout the city where I live. I checked on some once. I planted them in horrible places. All the other vegetation filled-in and I didn't see any sprouts.

You gotta germinate those seeds inside. Its a numbers game. Get urself like 10 okay spots and put bottomless pots in the ground. Put your medium in there. Dont use native dirt. I find areas that are meadows or grassy hills that meet the woods. use the south slope where u can work without being seen well. I go in full turkey hunting camo with no skin visible but all black clothing would work. I
do my digging at dusk, laying down. Once the shallow holes are dug for the pots, put em in and put a fairly hot(fertile soil) mixture in there because it has to be on autopilot most of the time. The bottomless pots stop weed pressure and retain water.
bring the sprouts at dusk, same deal black or camo, laying down while you transplant. Do a rotation and be vigilant. People are nosy but their also inattentive and with 9 or 10 spots, youre sure to have some success.

AND ITS FREE!!! The price is careful application of your strategy and the labor you put into caring for the plants. I hope you have success. And at the end of the day, you harm no one by growing some plants and provide yourself with that magical herb.
bruh, plants love real sunlight.
Overgrow the government!!!
