Grow tent getting hot.. will this work?

I have my tent in my closet and my closet has to stay shut. I'm like 5 degrees farenheit above what I'd like. I have a fan that would control that, but what I was thinking is buying a circle fan that would fit tight in duct, then running that into a vent hole at the bottom of my tent and leave it outside of my closet so it gets air from the ac.. Might sound nuts lol idk what do you think?

Or you could actually get an EXHAUST fan and duct it out of a window or into another room, or well ventilated attic space and then you’d actually have control over your temps instead of trying to funnel in cold air.

It’s easier to remove hot air than it is to inject cold air!

I have the cloudline t4 with a carbon filter and it's set on 10 and I'm still at 86°

Lol God damn it's so hard to believe lmao the fucking thing is blowing air so hard out of my tent its fucking awesome lol I just need it a little cooler. Fuck you just for getting on my nerves lol

Where is your exhaust fan blowing the hot air to?

back into the room with your grow?

Have you got any vents open to allow passive intake of your cold AC air?

Into another room dick lol I'm just playing with you man. Its blowing into another room I dont think I'll need something for a long time once it cools off. This heat is killing us right now.

That's why I'm wondering if I should run duct from the same room to the inside of the tent. I have no ac or way to get it to my tent or I would. So I'm wondering if that might work..

Yeah I was a dick sorry. Usually in Newbie Central that’s the kind of shit you have to deal with lol.

lit could work. I had no idea you were in TX anything you can do to funnel some cooler air towards that area the better.

Thanks bro it's no biggie lol and yeah I'm gonna try today and see what I can find.. I'm using LEDs too. I opened it up and it dropped to 84 pretty quick so hopefully a little fresh air from the room with ac would work.

yeah mid 80’s with LED is perfect anyway as you don’t have the IR that you do with HPS etc so temps need to be a little higher anyway.

Yeah I was trying to go for about 82 during the day, but as hot as it's been I'm super lucky to have it at 85.. I'm gonna try fanning some air in there and hopefully that does the trick. My t4 is having to run 24/7 is another reason I want it to cool down.
