Post vacation nutrients

Hi everyone, I'm away on vacation (June 25-July 20) and while I'm gone my neighbor is watering my outdoor photoperiod plants. They are in pots and FoxFarm Happy Frog potting soil. I had been using the foxfarm nutrients trio before I left but did not want to ask/trust someone else to use nutrients so they're just using water. They all still look super healthy and are starting to stretch out (neighbors sending picture updates).
My question is, should I pick back up the nutrient cycle when I get back based on where it is in the flowering cycle? I assume that will be fine but I'm still new and don't want to hurt it by doing something stupid.

Yes. Start with nutrients. Where is your approx location (to know when flowering should start)?

I’m in San Diego. It looks like it’s stretched out a lot so since I left so I’m thinking it’s in early flowering or about to start.

In San Diego, for photoperiod plants, they should start flowering in mid August. They are aggressively veging right now.

Funny thing about that is I flipped it to 12 /12 using a pop up tent in the beginning of May because i planted super early and didn’t know about the light stuff until it was to late. I didn’t want to let it naturally go until the flip because I was afraid it would be too big. Now I’m away for 3 weeks and didn’t want to ask anyone to manage the tent so it’s back to the natural light cycle. I’m fully expecting it to be fucked up when I get back which sucks but I learned a shitload and the couple of clones I took from it should be on track and healthy.

But that’s good to know because I was hoping I could cut some new clones from my older clones when I get back July 20th but was afraid they would be to deep into flowering. But it sounds like that won’t be the case yet

You take clones from a flowering plant. They will just take longer to get established, and the first growth that comes out will look weird and mutated. That's reveg growth.

Good to know, I read a couple times that might hurt the mother plant but I’m learning that a lot of stuff people say might not necessarily be wrong but doesn’t matter as much as they make it seem.

When I take clones from flowering plant, I always use the lowest side branches that arent going to produce anything more than little fluff buds anyway.
