Heat issues

Hi all, currently having heat issues, which I shouldnt have. I have a 1m x1m x 1.8m Bay six tent. Running a Mars hydro ts1000 on it's own. I have a black orchard active intake fan and 5 inch rvk extractor. I also have 2 fans inside moving air around. The tent has some negative pressure . My intake has 5 inch ducting going to the window ( outside temps 19°c) and extracts out of a window opposite. Started with a 400w hps but temps were reaching 30°c at canopy, so got a Mars ts1000, which I believe draws around 135w from the wall, yet temps are still hitting 28°C at canopy. Light is approx 20 inches from canopy. Any ideas how my temps are getting so high? The Mars is 2 years old. Could it being old cause it to produce more heat?

Can you remove the driver from the light so you can remove from tent that would get 2 a couple of degrees

You need an exhaust fan inside tent sucjing hot humid air out and I would exhaust it to the window like your intake fan is, then just open a flap at the bottom. And leave your two fans inside one low one high. And another the TS1000 take the driver off and mount it outside your tent. Good luck.

I do I have an rvk (5inch) extraction in the tent pulling air out via some ducting to the opposite window( enough to create negative pressure). In theory everything is perfect but clearly isnt

Driver doesn't feel like it's the issue, not a great deal of heat coming from the top of the light, it's almost as if the led s are producing the heat

Trust me I removed my driver and it took my tent down 2 degrees it's unnecessary heat if it can be removed then do it and yes of course led's give off heat but it's not that much I have a fan blowing underneath my light above the plants just blowing in that space not sure how much good it does but I had a.spare static clip on fan so I just did it hope you sort your problem mate

I'm assuming your ambient air temperature being pulled into the tent is sufficient? Any new additions (lights) to the rooms? Season changes? Moved into new area? If you say Temps were fine before than clearly it was an outside factor, right? Lol

You don't tell us any air specs so your guess is as good as mine? What's the specs on the fans? It's better to use 6-6.3" ducting and fans overall. Both in terms of price and performance.

No removing the driver will help like 3 degrees it gets hot which makes the heat sheild around the light hot. I took mine off and got my Temps right where I needed. I also leave a bottom flap open and right next to my AC vent, so when my AC in thr house kicks on my exhaust sucks in that cold air. I have a TS1000 as well with two other Mars Hydro 300 watts. I have 415 watts of LED in my 2x4 and my Temps stay 81-83.

Put your temperature sensor just under the canopy, in a shaded spot and see what it reads. Shade the sensor from direct light.
How long is the ducting, is there good flow through it,are there any bends in it?
Anyway I wouldn't be too concerned about the temperature as cannabis growing under the leds like it warm ~ 28°C.
My min/max thermometer in my flowering area is reading 34°C max in this warm spell and plants are loving it.
