480W of Samsung LM301B/H diodes or EB Gen3. Older gen strips can be found for a fraction of the cost but require a bit of increase to make up for efficiency loss so figure 600W if you use older diodes.
if you are up for a DIY experience and have basic electrical skills, a decent set of tools and scrap pile you could do it for close to your price. But like anything it comes down to what do you have more of, time or $.

that setup will be a nice dimmable lightweight 480W killer fixture for @ $350
that will easily get u 1GPW. Dial it in for bigger yields.
