What is this weird pattern seen on my bud? (Wedding Cake from MSNL seedbank)

Seems to be some negative genetic mutation? I would say it doesn't look pretty?

I have no idea what it is or what it means. I think I have seen it on other plants/genetics I or my friend have grown too.



It almost looks like the area around seeds, but this bud did not contain any seeds.

What is this? How to interpret it? Is it a problem and if so how to mitigate it?

Is the inside loaded with calyx's? Like a fat calyx with another calyx inside? Or just fat swollen like there should have been a seed inside but nothing?

Crazy. It almost looks like this one has eyes. I have no idea. Maybe use a scope or usb microscope. I believe you though that it's not a bug. Just looks crazy.

This seems to be the explanation that resonates most with me. It looks like the outer part of where the seed forms within.
Sometimes these plants had some nanners and maybe just a few seeds too.

But still very weird no? Havent you guys seen this before? (sounds like not).
