these dudes have bunk ass genes... whatever happened to that fake SFV bx5 ?
I don't know about bunk ass genes. I guess it all depends on which seeds you get from them. From what I have seen from 4 different strains I have now grown they are always uniform. Not much difference in a full pack of seeds. This is a huge plus in my book because you can keep growing from seeds or make your own by reversing one of them.
I grew out the Hot Mess, T-Dub, Bag Girl and Girl Crush. Every plant gave a decent yield and was covered in frost. The only problem I had so far was I hated the taste of the T-Dub. I didn't like the menthol flavor at all and it also ruined the Hot Mess for me too. Hot Mess was awesome in looks and smell but it had that menthol taste from the T-Dub and it ruined it.
Bad Girl was frosty as all hell but the buds were kind of small but very dense. Very potent and people liked it a lot.
The Girl Crush was exactly as described on the website. Huge frosty buds of OG Kush goodness. I over vegged and they grew way too tall for my tent but remained manageable the whole grow. The tallest was 66 inches but the best part was the yield. Massive hardball sized nugs. Massive yield with thick branches that were able to hold the weight with little support.
I got over 2.5 ounces per plant and the biggest almost hit 3. This is in a 2 gallon pot and I'm used to getting only 1 to 1.5 ounces per plant. These things were massive. I was so impressed that I put 2 of them back to reveg and if that don't work I'm ordering more seeds because these babies came out almost identical in height, yield and looks. I don't see this very often with breeders anymore.
I just trimmed them all and will have some cured bud pics in a few weeks.
I also ordered the Snow G and Glue Sniffer fems with the Double Durban regs. I'm starting to like the work these guys do and the descriptions of their work are very spot on IMO. If this next batch is as good as they say it is I'm going to keep ordering from these guys.
