Feminized issue?

Hey there,

I purchased some feminized seeds of Super Lemon Haze from seedsherenow.

I popped 3, two came through and sprouted. Don't know what happened to the 3rd.

I have them in rain science bags. Straight ph water only. 16/8 light schedule under T5 lights for seedlings/clones.

I am noticing that they are producing a bunch of white hairs at bud sites and almost like they are forming buds? Unless I'm wrong here, I don't know what the hell is going on with these two plants. I can take more close up shots if needed. If anyone can let me know what may be going on that would be awesome as I have grown fem seeds before and never had this happen with em.

Hey there Herb, I totally get the pre-flowers (as mentioned these are fem seeds), however I have never seen so many hairs and little cluster spots like in the pics.
Different genetics will do uniquely different things with leaf and flower material. I do believe what you're seeing is very common with Haze strains as well, the alarmingly long hairs in preflower

People seem to think there's such a thing as preflowera. THERE IS NOT. What everyone calls preflower is a calyx with with stigmas. These are single and found at the base of nodes. Clumping of calyx is not preflower. It is flower.

Theyre common on all female plants its part of what makes it female. Size can vary thats why your saying never seen clusters this small and son is saying alarmingly large

Did you buy autoflower genetics since you are under 16/8 they should not be doing that. Those are organized buds. Check pic #2 on the left.

Good point, i believe i meant "early flower"

Kinda like strain is actually cultivar, and pistils are actually stigmas. We potheads love to say the wrong shit, lol!

Purchase and pack say fem. Nothing stated autoflower, thus my overall concern with these?
See if they flower out under your current schedule and that will tell you if they have Ruderalis (autoflower) genetics in them. I've selfed tons of plants and none of them expressed Ruderalis tendencies ever that I was aware of. I'd also contact the store, or breeder, you got them from.

This sounds good.

Since you want to get super technical you can't see the calyx. What you are seeing is the bract. Which houses the "calyx". It's like looking at a pussy and saying you see the cervix.
