I am in the black for gambling but its def a risk. I prefer craps, poker, roulette and some times black jack. I always found that the trick was to never use money that mattered. If your worried about placing the bet, you shouldn't be gambling. It shouldn't upset you to lose and you shouldn't be anxious durring. As soon as i didnt care about the money I was gambling with, I became a much better player. Same big time with stocks. I would be a millionaire if I had been buying stocks without fear of loosing the money back in the day. I had the ability to know it was a good time to buy, but kept trying to short it in fear of it going back down. Then not listening to my gut and micro managing it. So much money lost due to fear. Still won in the end but a fraction of what would have been. Thing with stocks is you need big money to make big money. To make good money with less than 50,000 to 100,000 grand, you need to take bigger risks. And if you can bet with 100k and not sweat loosing it, you wouldn't be asking for advice.

Just seeing if anyone else on here is a degenerate gambler on here like me! LOL j/k. I do usually take a bi-weekly trip over to the casino with one of my (grow) buddies though. Anytime I win I put my original money I took over there back in the bank and put the winnings in a piggy bank in the top of my little boys closet. Here lately Ive been stashing it in there in wads. I counted it and had $17,080 in there!!!! Man was I STOKED! I may have lost around 2-3K there overall this year AT MOST. I usually take around $200 and if I start winning then I bet bigger if not I have a good time and then go home. Craps and blackjack have been good this year! Im not making a living over there by no means but its a good chunk for just enjoying myself! Anyone else making money at casinos?

I use to do ok at harrah's casino in new Orleans, I worked on bourbon street so I used to go play in the no limit hold em cash games after work. I always did well most I won was 800 and cashed out , I had a rule I take what I could afford to lose and only play for 2 hours or so

I have seen the same number come up on a roulette table 13 times in a row, and 11 times in a row, on the same night. Tables also have minimum and maximum betting limits to prevent this strategy.

The casino's are usually the ONLY ones making money. They sure weren't built on the backs of the winners.

The dealers make a lot of money too, used to do that for a while and they make more than the managers half the time.

Are the casinos open now with all the quarantine restrictions? i used to spend lots of time in casino hotels, mostly because i like the vibe, live music, nicely dressed people))) since the last year i started to play a bit too, but online casino of course. i didn't make too much, around 180$ for the last week. Not too bad i guess if you consider its just my hobby and i never put too much on the table

Casinos in NV shut down for a short period but they are open, plexi glass in between dealer and and in some places plexi glass between players too. Old place I worked for only let 3 people play blackjack at a time.

That is the dumbest shit I have ever heard, not all tables are the same length or have the same materials but there is definitely not a magnet in there. You are just another one of those people who want to blame something other than yourself for losing. The gaming industry in NV is regulated beyond your comprehension.
