First grow, flipping to flower.

This is my first grow and want to make sure everything is setup right before i flip to flower
4x4 tent
46"x 46" Grassroots living soil raised bed
Mixed my own soil using my own worm castings, local compost, SPM, Pumice, BaS Biochar and BaS Craft Blend
Blumat Blusoak

Water is filtered through a carbon and sediment filter. I have been doing weekly alternating top watering with Recharge and Rootwise.

Ive topped, defoliated and LSTed. I have Trellis netting coming tomorrow. So far any LST has been tied down to the tomato cage.

I top dressed BaS BuildaFlower today and watered it in using Mammoth P. Im planning on flipping to 12/12 next week. How often should i top dress BuildaFlower? Is there any other amendments that would help my grow? Currently my VPD is around 1.3 temp maxes out at 90 and 64% RH. Should I drop the RH and increase the VPD for flower? Whats a good number to shoot for? Thanks for the help.

Only thing I can suggest is trellis well before the flip. Everything else sounds like your on track. Led??

If you're trying to raise VPD you can Increase temp or drop RH

The air temp, leaf temp, and rh all work together to provide the VPD. So you can either raise your temp or lower your rh to get the range you are looking for.

If i'm not mistaken, the temp that matters is leaf surface not ambient. That is why LED tents can run hotter than HID tents. The LEDs don't increase the leaf surface temp as much as HID bulbs do

Yes, HLG Scorpion Diablo LED with 2 HLG UVA supplemental LED strips and 2 Orphek Blue 410-480nm LED strips I had on hand from my old reef tank hobby. From what I've read and what I've seen so far the increase in blue spectrum keeps the node spacing super tight. 800ish watts at the plug using a KillaWatt meter and 975 PPFD at the canopy measured with the Pulse Pro

unless your useing co2 that seems a bit extreme. And with led personally I have to work to get nodal spacing. It’s not like hid where your constantly raising lights. Here’s a couple stretch period pictures running 600w.
My ppfd starts around 400 in right at flip. And really I stretch right into the 600-700 range by end of flower.

rock hard nug plenty of space for day buds to fill into. Otherwise with no stretch your looking at potential bud rot or just tothick in general.

I’m guessing I have another 6-8 inch total height to go still. I really thinkuseing the stretch is more beneficial than being scared of it. These plants vegges close to 3 weeks.
