Should i flip into flower?

Hey guys I'm new to growing so this is my first grow just wondering if u should flip into flower or wait longer I have them under 2 1000w led pulling 110 each at the wall I'm waiting for my mars hydro tws 2000 to arrive any day now I measured and the plants are 16 inches tall and I have them in 10 gallon pots probably over kill but I used them anyways I'll post some photos there also in a 3x3 tent. Also in the photos the one plant was wilted that's cause it went under some heavy stress when I transplanted but there all back and standing now and at first I had the light to close that's why the leaves are marked but that's all been fixed and it's gone now . The strains are black cherry punch , super skunk and an alien tech any advice you guys have will help thanks in advanced!!!

They “stretch” a lot- maybe x2- when you flip to flower, so think about how tall you can allow them to get. I would snip the very top off as well, but then it is going to branch out to the side as well. Just imagine your plants blowing up to fill your space. I’m not the right guy for indoor questions so much, but 3x3 seems pretty small to me, even not knowing the heighth.

probably time to flip, I'm in a 3x3 and usually flip between 12-15". i do tend to train mine a little more though. nice job so far!

OK awesome I'll probably switch it into flower starting tonight, and I did train them abit and also topped them a few times after the photos were taken but still learning on different ways of training but I appreciate your help hope they turn out decent running 400 watt at the wall so not sure what's gonna come out of it .

Thanks I topped them a few more times after those pictures were taken I also trained them abit more and put a trellis net in so hopefully that helps but I'm gonna flip into flower now since my tent is only 36x36x72 I believe so would hate to not have enough room at least I'll know for the next time how much room I'll have but thanks for you help I appreciate it!!

Keep reading here and you’ll get some good answers (and probably some others) but this forum is the best I’ve seen.
I’ve gathered a lot of “book-smarts” about indoor growing here and will say it’s heavily about that canopy, meaning your top-leaf and flower creating a blanket space to maximize production in that area where light and airflow are optimized.
