15 week veg! 1/3/5 gallon.

Alright, so I was just curious what people were pulling with a 12-16 week veg going from 1/3/5 gallon pots. Let’s just say using a 2x4x6 tent with a 330 watt HLG 350R. I’m talking super LST here guys. Environment 68-69 lights out. 77-80 lights on. No co2. Indica plants only. Like I said I’m curious.

From a 2 x 4 x 5 I will pull (the RIU community is gonna love this answer ... 8-) ) about a pound from 2 plants in a SCROG in 5 gallon buckets using your HLG predecessor - the 320R. I have found that a SCROG maximizes the 8 square feet the best.

One growers opinion ...

How long of a veg?

If we're talking pure indicas here, aren't they designed for a huge dense main cola? I can understand the long veg now for scrog purposes, but I personally feel the time could be devoted more to flowering than veg, unless this is hobby, or for fun? I've grown one pure indica M.O.B and it was so stout in like a 10 week veg. The side branching quite minimal, granted I didn't top just marine algae, sea kelp, and terpinator as enhancers. Hybrids grew double to triple in that time frame considering bush and height. Sorry, I'm just generally a curious cat =p

The reasoning behind such a long veg would be to take clones from a selected pheno that looks the best and grows the most prolific before flowering her

... I’m just curious on the possible yield from 3, 80:20 indica plants vegged for 14 weeks and then flowered in 5 gallon buckets ...
This is what is possible with the Blue Cheese cultivar. Blue Cheese is an 80:20 indica dominant hybrid of Blueberry & UK Cheese.

This one was a hair under 10 weeks in 18/6 then spent 59 days in 12/12. Chopped and hung for 7 days then jar cured for 8 weeks.

Totally finished = 7.2 oz.

This was what I was looking for. Thanks for chiming in. So 3 plants like that in a 2x4x6 would produce a very nice yield if vegged for 14 weeks.

If you want to grow 3 plants in a 2 x 4 you can grow them to a size of 16" x 24" before flowering. But I am pretty certain that they will have reached that size long before you hit the 14 week VEG mark.

If you're gonna veg that long, I'd go with 2 plants in 7 gallon pots...
I have a 2x4 and 3 gets really crowded in 7 week veg..

I just can’t see it getting crowded in 7 weeks. Not even close. Maybe in your environment and with your genetics but with super skunk after 7 weeks it’s not crowded at all and that’s after 2 toppings and lots of LST. 7 gallon is out of the question the saucers will take up too much space. I like throwing an auto in one of the corners so yeah gotta stick with the plan

All my plants are in 5 gallon pots in a 5x5x8 with a SF4000 I just flipped them yesterday and will be buying 250w light to boost my yield
