Buds lost stickiness and smell

I started flushing through week 8-9 in coco. End of week 7 buds had lost their stickiness and smell. During this week j also had melded issues which I solved. During week 7 I also went two days with feed cause of corona and during these two days temp need go up to around 30c/86f.

to make up for everything at the end of 9th week I left the plants for 48hrs of darkness and damn I can say they did frost up. 7-8 days of drying(until stems snap) followed by curing.

Now the issue is I’ve been curing them in jars in the dark. It’s been 2 weeks. When I open the jars it smells dank but when I pick up individual buds there not much of a smell plus the high is really mild.

apart from the new days of no feed anyone else can suggest how to do end harvest properly. This is my second run. Buds have turned out awesome. They look the part but don’t smoke the part. Anyway I can improve the 3rd time?

What you are describing sounds like you did a nice job growing and did the dry and cure right.

Your overall growing style and environment and genetics determine the final quality. I dont think those last few weeks made or broke it. Lots of light, proper nutes, proper environment creates the best possible result from the genetics you use.

If you did a perfect job of maximizing all those environmental elements and feed and light...it would only then be genetics causing the mild stone and weaker smell. Otherwise keep running more plants and keep improving.

Well explained, I'm no Pro grower but I did find different phenotypes to be a factor too. I jus finished my first grow 7 plants 4 strains and they differ alot. I have 2 pineapple express phenos one stinks of fruit and smells and taste like pina the other has really not much smell till grinded and taste like slightly burnt brown sugar still nice but not a patch on the other. By far my nicest strongest smelling plant is the sativa strain that took 14.5 weeks to finish and this seed was from a seed bank which is spoke highly of on here. Sometimes it's being lucky with genetics....in future I will look into cloning seems to be a less chance of being disappointed as u will know exactly wat u are growing
