With a 3x3 tent and bargain basement investment for setup how much can I realistically expect to save eventually. I went from wow today's weed is a lot stronger than what we had back in the 70s to smoking an OZ a week to deal with pain, nausea and sleep issues. I'm hopping there will be shake to smoke while I wait for grow, dry, cure cycles. Basically once I have a few grows do you think a 3x3 can support An ongoing sippy of an OZ a week?

Considering 14 weeks per cycle, allowing for 4 week veg and 10 week flower... You would need to produce 14 oz per cycle to get 1oz per week. Harvesting that from a 3x3 tent is certainly possible with a 400w LED and all your nutes, water/feed, and environmental controls dialed in right. There are growers on here that can pull that, but if you want to call 1oz per week the absolute minimum, then to give yourself some wiggle room, a 4x4 tent with a 640w LED will put you over the mark.

Back when I ran small coco hempy's perpetually I was always waiting on room in the small drying tent to be able to take another down. You pack tons in there staggered as far/much as you like. On tester runs and pheno hunts I had one chamber packed full of 32 oz hempys and was getting about an O per plant with very little veg time. Lots of feeding lots of plants is, well, lots of work though.

I may have to turn my garage into a master bedroom if I can't get upstairs after physical therapy so I could design in an area for a separate tent for drying just have to factor in costs of extra grow equipment with remodeling loan budget so I can even afford it.

I was pulling that with ease in my 3x3 with 340w. If you plan on using sugar leaves and larf for keif/edibles/extracts/concentrates you may have more than you're anticipating

100%. In my last place I lived around some sick elderly who I helped out in this dept and the benefits of a tincture can't be overstated. Two of them had severe rheumatoid arthritis and could barely use their hands at all while the others more often than not prefer edible consumption for convenience but most importantly, duration of effect. My grows have always been 100% personal so I'd make those tinctures or coconut oil for these folks and charge them nothing for it.

Sounds like you’d need two tents, a little bit of growing skill, and some strains with shorter flowering periods.

Autos might be good for this, no need for a veg tent and a little faster moving plants.

It’s doubtful you will be fully supplied from a 3x3. It just takes too long to get a crop started and finished with one tent. I had 2-3x3 and a 2x4 in my bed room for a few years and that definitely would have been able to keep up. You need 3.25 lbs per year if you smoke an oz a week. You would likely be at or near 120 days per crop if your starting seeds all the way to drying in the same space. A lb out of a 3x3 is hard to get, it’s more likely 8-12 ozs. But even if you did somehow manage to get a lb every 120 days you would still be short for the year. I’m not trying to be discouraging, but I filled a 3x3 corner to corner with bud for years under a 315 cmh and never hit a lb out of a 3x3. Little tents can be fun and grow killer bud but you need multiple of them if you have a smoking habit like that. I will say it’s cheaper just to buy a big tent once then multiple different exhaust fans and equipment when you decide you didn’t go big enough.

IMO, you’re gonna need a veg tent if you want to keep it perpetual. Flower is going to take 8 weeks minimum. You could start your seeds and veg them in one tent, once you’re ready to flower put them in The flower tent and just continue that cycle. I normally pull about 7 dry ounces in my 2x4 which I think is pretty decent running 2 plants. 2 tents will allow you to harvest roughly once every 8 weeks and 8 ounces is easily done in a 3x3 if you manage your canopy well enough
