What strain?
Cos looks like its been topped or its like a mutant self topper that aint died as most of them do ime or as if the main branch was shaded or something weird structure for sure regardless you can top the two biggest branches just now if ya want to

It already has 3 main branches, it split on it's own it looks like at the very beginning.

To top you simply cut with clean scissors above the node you want to keep. A healthy plant will slow down for a day or 2 at most and then begin growing 2 or more tops per branch. Fine to do it now but you will likely need to support the branches for now at least with some bamboo poles or the like. Tomato cage would work if it can fit over it all.

Ive never had to support a plant in veg unless it was a viney viney type plant and never just due to topping it and i top everything multiple times unless its a strain that has a in built aversion to it or something like u said from the guide you using sounds fine only thing id add is if topping is to leave a couple of millimetres of stem at very least from above the node your topping cos it helps the plant heal and close off the wound faster ime

Do you have a reason for wanting to remove potential colas and vegitation, maybe I'm missing something with topping?

You can tie them over and keep all the shoots and vegging growth with zero recovery time and have more tops and end product, post #8 imo is another equally good method with zero recovery time and doesn't loose the vegitation = more root and shoot growth quicker.

Agreed,i use topping for that reason occasionally, when i want something to catch up and be even
I'm guilty of forgetting no everyone is after the same thing.

I don't veg for long around 4 weeks so it all counts, but when I've got potential mothers in the other tent I do top and tie them to keep them more compact.

Nothing you can do unless you have a female you want to breed it with.

but there is a lot of videos and literature about making oil from leaves, but i am not really sure cause every single one says different things...That's why i am asking someone who has experience with this

Male plants are hemp. They contain almost no thc. Like 0.001. So yes you can and people do extract from hemp. But your 1 tiny plant is not anywhere enough raw material to make extraction worth it.
