- sea of purple kush (pure indica) / sweet skunk (pure sativa) f1 hybrids.
So far only 3 confirmed fems. I need to get a loop and really take some time tomorrow, its getting down to the wire. I cant cull and whip tie these suckers into submission until I know.
Already pushing 9.5 - 10 feet in height. Still awaiting stronger indication pertaining to sex, and the pre flower stretch. Im sure Ill see some 15 footers when its all said and done.
which I try to avoid. the skunk genetics are ridiculous in terms of grow there rapid growth rates. I bought fresh bottles of botanicare ferts 3 weeks ago, applied once then got super sparing/ conservative with it. due to them being full out of control. I amended soil with 3 full bags of 40 litre worm castings, and whatever else is left in the soil.
I knew the skunk genetics with this particular breeder grow wilder than other mj. this having growing the same ones in the breeders hybrids countless times. I just have never been slapped by the reality of it quite this blatantly before HAHA. there clearing visivble the next street over. sometimes the best hiding spot if in the open. that brings some comfort. Plus atm its all I got.
I cant help but laugh when Im out there and see them in the flesh towering well over my 6'1 head LOL. the picture with me, is a couple weeks ago. They bushed out a good bit more/ grew even higher. Even the stalk higher up a foot or so from the tops are thick as a roll of quarters. all in all double the size of whats usually out here hehehe. Just got to roll with it or I might do something like start stressing myself out.
Ill take another side by side progress picture when I'm out that way tomorrow. that one was taken July 16th. all the others were today. If it doesnt stir up attention the best vantage point is on the raised patio with a step ladder.
excuse me if my writing seems a little on the haphazardly side. something got me riled up plus Im more than a little bit baked
good luck out there everyone and stay safe.
