Cause and effect. It’s something your doing. You could pay top dollar for genetics but if your atmosphere is not tuned correctly you WILL get pests / bacteria/ fungus issues. Even if it is perfect. There are things that can be done to create small issues. There will always be issues. “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.”

I'd have to echo this statement. I bought 10 seeds each of Wedding Cake, Skywalker OG and purple kush. I ran one run with wedding cake and skywalker. I will say, these turned out quite nicely. My gripe with them, is I have attempted 5 purple kush and not a single one of them has germinated. Not one. I've had 100% success with the wedding cake and skywalker, though they've been vastly different phenotypes...but the fact that I'm at 0% with the purple kush leaves an extremely sour taste in my mouth....especially when the essentially guarantee germination

I orded 180 plus seeds from ILGM. Had 90 or so replaced and replaced again. My germination rate with certain strains were close to 20%. I went with Expert seeds now my germination rate is close to 90%. ILGM sent me plenty of seeds that were useless and waste of my hard earned money. What I can say their customer service is good. Shipping is good. But I need those high germ rates so I had to go else where. If they get the germ rates better maybe ill go back.

I got big dark fem. LSD beans from ILGM. Soaked 6 in water overnight then 24 hours on a paper towel. They all threw a taproot and are now in the propagator healthy as Ive ever seen any plant. Guess I got lucky? No, fact is I've never had a problem with this place so its not all trash and they aren't all junk. These seeds were definitely not immature and the germination rate of this strain and many others from ILGM have consistently been over 90%. Not saying anything other than I, personally, have not had any issues with them.

I've harvested two strains, Gold Leaf and Gorilla Glue, and have no complaints.
Every ILGM seed I've attempted has germinated. I used the old paper towel and distilled water method. The longest germination took 4 days. I've had no issues growing the plants. It's all indoor grow because of the laws concerning outside growing in my state. Now, that said, can I be sure that the strains I ordered are what I'm growing? It would take an expert breeder to tell me that. I grew their Gold Leaf and Gorilla Glue. The Gold Leaf is an almost psychedelic high if I overdo it. The Gorilla Glue is knockout weed. Two big bong hits and I'm in a stupor. Maybe that's not such a good trait. I'm now trying to grow one of their Super Silver Haze plants. I'm looking for that good old sativa high from my youth. The seed germinated in 24 hours and was ready to go into seeding medium after three days. It's under a full spectrum light and growing in Coast of Maine Stonington blend. All indications are good. I know a 90% sativa plant isn't for the cash crop crowd because of its relatively low yields, but since it's just for my personal use how much do I really need? If I get an ounce or two I'm good. So far I have no complaints with ILGM. My real issue is that they don't have some of the strains I'm looking for.
I agree that high germination rates are hit and miss. When they grow they grow well, really like the Gold Leaf. Replacement seeds are a pain, since they usually won't pop. That AK47 auto was a 30 seed disaster. I also notice some dramatic differences between plants from same pack. I find them easy to use but will be moving on when I'm out. TC
