Thank you for hearing me!
I have powder feeding by greenhouse fertilizers which have a chart with the recommended EC and g/L for each product.
The G/L don't reach the required EC... Barely half.
For week 8 of flowering (oficial chart):
Hybrids:
0,5 g/L
EC: 0,7
Booster:
0,6 g/L
EC: 0,6
Calcium:
1,3 g/L
EC: 0,5
EC Total: 1,8
I don't use the calcium.
My rested tap water has 0,3 EC
Using the recommended g/L the EC should raise by the stated amount.
When mixing with my water 0,5 g/L of hybrids the EC goes up by 0,3 (from 0,3 to 0,6)
Same for pk booster.
They raise EC less that stated, almost half!
Anyone else having the same issue?
Maybe my EC meter is broken, but it's new! (And 0,3 for tap water seems reasonable)
I ended up adding more of each to reach the recommended EC for each product.
So it was: 0,7 hybrids + 0,6 Booster + 0,3 water = 1,6
It's strange because they brag about being simple and not needing to measure EC. If I followed the recommended g/L I would be under feeding!!!
