agreed. It's not healthy. returns have been severely diminished. That root ball does not look healthy. Not sure what can be done to help tho...sorry.
Best thing to do is start again and learn the lesson. Dwc/rdwc is a system that has no give/play. You have to keep it with in its parameters at all times. The idea is that your plants are getting beyond optimum condition to grow in 24/7. This is not the case with yours. You will spend the next 3months adding this that and the other but nothing will work. Its not about curing illness in dwc. Prevention is key. Take large cuttings from your vegged plants is best you can do. And clean out system start again. Good luck you will get thereagreed. It's not healthy. returns have been severely diminished.
they look pretty rough.Any idea?
Lol I'm finishing the flower and will report weight. It's week 8 right now. 14 more days. I think i got around 1LB per light on 750W DEs.Best thing to do is start again and learn the lesson. I can get 35%. I'll do that rinse in the next day or two. They are soaking in Physan again right now.they look pretty rough.
i think peroxide would be what i would try. and alot of dead roots and gunk is gonna come off. you will need multiple soaks, refill with more peroxide, rinse and repeat.
what % peroxide can you get quickly?
Right on.Take clones now, those plants are fuct. But if you want to give it a shot rinse off as much crap before you start dunking in peroxide and like already said you will need mutiple dunkings and I would even pour some down through the net pot.
Also, if you can get 30% peroxide, use that and dillute to 5%
i'd skip the physanThey are soaking in Physan again right now
People recommended Physan 20 for the rot specifically. I let the roots soak in the physan/pure water for 3-4 hours. Brown Algae is root rot/pythium? At least, that is my understanding of it.i'd skip the physan
Hydroponics
Physan 20 Greenhouse Disinfectant can be used in a variety of hydroponic applications to: 1. Prevent the development of disease 2. Kill algae that may form on system surfaces and substrates...www.physan.com
says it does more to kill algae. i didn't read the word pythium in that whole page.
it does say this:
However, it should be considered that tender root systems are potentially at risk from a continual bath of Physan 20 solution.
algae is algae which is usually caused by light. brown/green/black etcBrown Algae is root rot/pythium? At least, that is my understanding of it.
wear gloves and get that shit up into those root balls. it's gonna be a mess of roots falling out all over the place.I will do another wash with H202 tomorrow

I have CCH20 UC Roots.Use dutchmasters zone as a preventative next round you'll be happy you did
I'm still going to do it. 14 days left. That's a lot of room for improvement. Every day counts!I used 1 ml/gallon of 29% twice a week as a preventive, seamed to work.
Wouldnt even bother if your at 8 weeks,Next round youll know better.
