SINGAPORE - An Amsterdam-bound flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Vienna after a man refused to stop farting, causing a fight to break out between him and other passengers mid-air.

The Transavia Airlines flight from Dubai made an unscheduled stop in Vienna International Airport last weekend after two Dutch men complained that an older man seated near them did not stop farting, despite their repeated requests, according to local news outlet De Telegraaf.

$18 million worth of cocaine found in bananas

Texas authorities disclosed that they have seized $18 million worth of cocaine found in bananas concealed in boxes that were gifted to a Texas prison.

It was in a Facebook post that the Texas Department of Criminal Justice announced that the drugs were found in two pallets of bananas.

The bananas were originally donated because they were already ripe.


The department explains that it was the two sergeants who picked up the boxes that found a “bundle of white powdery substance” under the fruit.

Customs officials were called to the scene with authorities saying that 540 packages of cocaine were found within 45 boxes of bananas.

They immediately notified port authorities and awaited their instruction.”

The Drug Enforcement Administration and Customs and Border Protection are both investigating, according to a state news release. But, it appears, the perpetrator has already split.

It chides the “concept of mathematics being purely objective” as “unequivocally false.” It argues focusing on the “right answer” to math equations is an example of white supremacy.

The resources help educators rid their classrooms of the scourge of racist math by making their students dumber. For example, the lessons in Dismantling Racism in Mathematics Instruction warn educators that “white supremacy culture” shows up in the classroom when teachers “treat mistakes as problems by equating them with wrongness” because it “reinforces the ideas of perfectionism (that students shouldn’t make mistakes) and paternalism (teachers or other experts can and should correct mistakes).”


It doesn’t explain why this is white supremacist culture. It just says that it is.

What is gained by denial of fact?





It is astonishing how the transgender moral panic has swept actual science aside. The American Medical Association Board of Trustees (BOT) just passed a resolution that will have the AMA lobbying to end the designation of sex in all future birth certificates.

The resolution distinguishes between the “Certificate of Live Birth” — which is used for simple data collection and vital statistics — and a “Birth Certificate,” which is proof for the born person that he or she was indeed born. (Can I still say that?)

The AMA wants biological sex recorded for the former as a private matter of record-keeping. But it will now urge that birth-certificate forms carry no designation of sex to prevent future discrimination based on identity and to allow the person to decide later what sex they really are.

I’m trying to get a grip on gender that is not entirely subjective i.e. “whatever I say it is”. That is not a useful criterion.

Gender/Sex can be fluid. Biological sex cannot. Subjective manipulation is not a tool of the trans community. It's the rest of us that have to make a conscious effort to accept and support them.



I read the whole article. Some data is necessary to provide healthcare, mental health resources and other services. Giving someone a piece of ID that does not match their gender identity is not right. I have absolutely no problem with recording a persons biological sex at birth.

When I was 8 or 9 I wasn't out yet and didn't fully understand what was going on. I thought maybe I was supposed to be male and things just got messed up in the womb. It explained a lot of things I was going through at the time. LGBT kids need time to grow, figure themselves out and things will likely change as they get older.

This isn't a black and white, X and Y conversation. For a single minute put yourself in a 14 year old trans girl's shoes, when she has to face the anxiety and humiliation of being exposed as a biological male every time she shows her ID. A simple F or M can be an obstacle to health care, education, filing police reports and even voting. They face so many roadblocks in life already, throwing up more obstacles because of ignorance and bigotry serves nobody.

When I say hate it's your complete lack of empathy and willingness to understand those that don't necessarily fit into your ideal society.
